the next days, josh couldn't seem to find the bench boy anywhere. his friends were positive that this proved his guiltiness, but josh was wondering if it could've been him that was beat up.
or then he was just up to some delinquent activities and couldn't be bothered to come to school to learn things and try and make a future for himself.
of course it was none of josh's business what the guy did on his free time, or on his school time, or whenever, really. but still.
josh had come to terms that he wanted to get closer to the guy that everyone else hated or feared and who was basically as social as a dead dog. not that josh had ever tried to socialize with a dead dog.
no, he definitely hadn't ever talked to his deceased dog, trying to get him to bark once more.
no, josh wasn't that desperate at talking. if the boy would eventually reply to him, then that'd be okay, but josh definitely wasn't going to stress over it and try his best to talk with the guy to try and find out what his deal was.
josh was gonna be normal about this one.
