Donghyuck's pov

"Uh- um- uh- I mean ye-yeah. I'm okay. Sorry."

Way to go. He probably thinks I'm crazy now. I can't even talk properly. He's also really adorable, too. I'm making a fool of myself.

I take a hold of his hand, which was still stuck out for me to grab, and hoist myself up.

"What are you doing out here this late? You seem to be in a hurry."

I look down, afraid to speak again.

"I was um-"

"Mark! Let's go!"

I look up at the new voice. A man with light brown hair was walking towards us.

"Mark?" I ask.

The boy who I think is Mark looks at me with a soft smile.

"Yes that's me. What's your name?"

"It's Do- call me Haechan." I can't let them know my real name, just in case. Maybe I can get a new start with this, as well.

"This is Jaehyun. Did you need us to help you get anywhere? There aren't too many of us, but we can squeeze you into our car."

I hesitate, but shake my head, "No, thanks."

"Okay, but please be safe. It's not a good idea to be out here alone at night," the guy named Jaehyun tells me.

I nod and they walk away. I really need to get out of here. The farther I am the better. I should try teleporting again.

My head feels all jumbled, but I try to focus on my task, nonetheless.

Making sure those two guys have their backs to me, I quickly vanish. Except to my luck I land in an alley not too far off. To add to it, I crash into some garbage cans, as well. This is frustrating. Why can't I seem to get this right? Not long after, I feel my self lose consciousness.

Mark's POV

"Jaehyun, I really don't think we should leave that kid out here alone. He seemed lost and scared."

Jaehyun sighs in front of me.

"I know, but he probably just took a wrong turn and can navigate himself back to where he came from."

I shrug, still concerned. Maybe I should see if he can find his way home, just to be sure.

I turn around, expecting to see a retreating figure walking away from us, but there was no one. There also weren't many places to hide near by so it confused me even more. He's probably just really fast.

As I turn back around to catch up with Jaehyun, a loud crash gets heard from an alleyway ahead of us.

What was that?

Jaehyun and I immediately sprint ahead.

At first glance, there was nothing, but it was pretty dark. I look over to see Jaehyun already walking to the back of the alley, being as cautious as possible. I decide to stay behind just in case I need to grab the others for some help.

Jaehyun's gasp echoes back towards me. He sounds like he's talking to someone, but it's so quiet to hear.

"Mark! Go get the others and grab the car as well."

I almost want to run over to him to see what he's looking at, but I hold myself back. He is second in command so I have to listen to him, even if I am incredibly curious.

"Johnny, can you gather everyone? We have to go right now. Jaehyun's orders."

I watch Johnny get our little group from the club we had previously been in. We were out celebrating for Yuta's birthday, but not everyone came out. It had just been eight of us: Jaehyun and I, Johnny, Yuta, Winwin, Doyoung, Jungwoo, and Ten. Taeil stayed back to help Taeyong with important work and everyone else is underage or just didn't want to go to the club.

It wasn't long before we were in the car and I lead them to where Jaehyun had been. I was about to hop out of the car when I see Jaehyun running over to us with a body in his arms.

"It's that kid!"

"Open the door for him!"

I quickly open the side door for Jaehyun and help him with Haechan. He looked so small and innocent, but also so fragile, like he could break if you even just touched him.

Jaehyun makes me move over on the seat, Haechan still in his arms, and we start driving away. I hope he's okay.

"He was passed out when I found him. I don't think he's okay."

"Wait, so who is he?"

"He's this kid we ran into outside the bar. His name is Haechan. He seemed really scared to talk to us," I reply to Johnny's question.

We finally arrive back at our house. Hopefully, Taeyong will be okay with this.
