It took him a lot of concentration and multiple distractions for him to finally land in the new country. It was thankfully nighttime in America so the streets lacked bystanders who could accidentally witness him appear from out of no where.

This was going to be a lot harder than he thought. Directions weren't easy for him, especially since he's never really seen the outside world up until he met the gang.

Haechan hastily walks down the sidewalk since he had no idea where he was going. He hoped that something would eventually show him where he needed to go. It was getting scary for him, just walking around the town.

Just as he passed a convenience store, a man had flagged him down. Haechan hesitated, not sure what to do. The man looked like he had something urgent to say as he ran over to him.

"Please, please I need some money. I have to feed my children and I have no money. Please?" Haechan looked at the stranger in confusion.

"Um, well, you and me both, sir." And with that, Haechan walks off.

Except, he didn't get very far.

"I need money. Do you want my kids to die of starvation?!" He had twisted Haechan around to look at him.

"Don't touch me. I have no money," Haechan huffs from frustration and tries to walk away again. That seemed to offend the man.

"You dare disrespect your elders?! I have a family I need to feed and you won't help me?!" He grabs ahold of Haechan's shoulders again.

At this point, Haechan was getting really annoyed. This man did not seem to want to leave him alone. After everything he's been through today, this was the last thing he wanted to encounter.

"I said," Haechan pauses to turn around. "Don't touch me." The younger flicks his finger and makes the man fly back a few feet and land into a garbage can placed on the edge of the sidewalk. Haechan leans over to look at the man before continuing, "I have no money, bitch. Support your family yourself."

Haechan walks away without looking back to see the man's surprised look. Satisfaction filled him up. For the first time in awhile, he was happy about something happening.

Maybe he could check this place out before he tries to find this lady. It might be awhile so might as well enjoy it here.

He found himself in a big city, it seemed, as he walks out onto a sidewalk that paralleled a street filled with bustling cars. Despite being late at night, there were still a lot of drivers, maybe going home for the evening.

This place was huge to Haechan. Everything mesmerized him, from all the lights to how big the buildings were. It was art and Haechan loved every second of it.

He found a small park and decided to sit down for a moment, finding the swings to be the most interesting option. The only parks he's seen were in movies or shows. It seemed more exciting in person and he wished he had someone to share the excitement with. He thought back to Mark, wondering what he was doing. Did they manage to get Kun to a hospital? Are they all okay?

His mind wandered to Taeyong. Was he disappointed in the younger? Did he lose his trust in him? Haechan didn't want to upset the older after everything he had done for him. This departure was needed to happen, but he really hoped fate lets them reunite again.

"You are a really fricken hard person to locate."

The sound of a voice nearing made him whip his head to the source. A younger lady walked up to him and sat in the swing beside his.

"Uh, hi?" Haechan was confused. Maybe she thought he was someone else? "I'm sorry, but I think you have me mistaken for another person."

"Nope!" She replies, with a big smile. "You're Haechan and Kun sent you! I also saw what you did to that poor begger. He just wanted some help." She chuckles at the boys facial expression showing annoyance. "I'm kidding I saw how he acted. It was rightfully deserved, but you should be a bit more careful with your surroundings."

Not sure what he should say, Haechan decides to stay quiet and nod his head. So, is this who he was supposed to go to? How did she even find him? So many questions were racing through his head, but he didn't know how to speak them.

"Oh, I'm Kim Yerim, but I'd like it if you called me Yeri." She sends him a bright smile, which seemed to comfort Haechan.

"You're so young. The way Kun spoke, it seemed like I was going to find some wise all mighty being." This made Yeri burst out laughing. "I swear I'm not some old wizard who knows everything. I'm like you: a lab experiment who realized I'm not someone's weapon. I am a human who doesn't deserve that life," she pauses to glance at Haechan. "And neither do you. I'm glad you came to that realization, as well. I mean we wouldn't be seated here if you didn't."

Maybe he was actually glad that he found her. Relief took over and for once, he didn't feel like the odd one out. Yeri was just like him and they were both runaways from labs. How coincidental is that?

"You know, there's more like us? I dedicated my time, after I left, to finding them. Life is scary as one of us and it just feels good to know you aren't alone." She gets up from her swing. "Do you have some strength left to teleport? My house is just around the block. I'll let you rest there."

Haechan was glad to be able to finally let the tension relieve itself. He can also finally get some answers that he hoped for.
