"So, now if the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell, what is the regular house called in a cell?"

Everyone looks at YangYang for a moment, but then turn back to what they were originally doing, ignoring his random outburst.

"Wow, cool. Okay, so I'm going to find new friends-"

"Yangyang, please be quiet. This is an important meeting. Our next plan relies solely on how we follow through with this mission," Jaehyun states.

"In other words, he means shut the hell up," Xiaojun mocks, while rolling his eyes.

I let out a small giggle. They were all so amusing to observe in their daily life.

Taeyong had insisted I sit in on this meeting so I can have an idea of how they run things and so I can think about my role in their missions. I honestly didn't realize how tedious and dangerous each one was.

"Channie, do you want to take a snack break for a moment?" Mark asks. I nod, trying to hide my over excitement for the much needed break.

"It was getting really boring and usually I can handle it, but today I couldn't focus because of how bored I was." He adds, with me following him into the empty kitchen.

We had been working on things for three hours now. I'm used to sitting in on informative meetings at the lab that drag on, but they never let me give my opinion or suggest anything. So, this was a bit new for me. I can let Jaehyun know what I'm comfortable with doing and he takes my words into consideration.

"Chocolate milk?"

I stare at Mark in confusion.

"Milk can be chocolate?" I ask.

"Wait, you've never had chocolate milk before?!" I shake my head in response.

"I'm from a lab that forced me to eat weird supplements and rice for every meal so that I can be a good lab rat." I shrug and take the glass from his outstretched hand.

"Oh, that's right. I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that. Try it, though. I think you'll like it."

So, I do.

A euphoric feeling spreads through me as the sweet, creamy flavor covers my tastebuds and into my stomach. I stare at Mark after finishing the glass, before a wide smile grows on my face.

"This is amazing!! I want more! Mark, give me more!"

Mark chuckles at my happy outburst. "If you drink too much, you'll get a stomach ache. How about I give you some at dinner, but until then you already chugged that entire glass and I don't want you to get sick." I frown, but nod in response.

"Mark, Haechan, Taeyong needs everyone back at the meeting room. It's important," Jeno pops his head in the doorway.

We both nod, abandoning our glassware in the sink, and follow him back to the room we were in before.

"Good, I have everyone here now. First off, we have a lead on the lab's gang. We located one of their temporary bases and they seem to be on the go, as we've also noticed they keep hopping locations. Second, we're recruiting and collaborating with a new, small gang who's leader has an insight as to what went down in the lab. Haechan, you might know him. I don't think he knows you're with us though."
