The training seemed to be a lot harder than usual. My body felt so weak and tired.
"Hey, Haechan? Are you okay? We can take a break if you need to. You're looking really pale."
It seemed as if the energy was sucked out of me, I couldn't even give Taeil a response. Everything felt weird around me. It was all spinning so fast, but also slowly at the same time. "Uh, I, uh," I tried to stutter out a response, but it seemed too difficult to talk.
"Woah, woah, okay. You really don't look so good. Why don't we take you to Kun." I send him a weak nod, not trusting my strength to get out a response.
Before we could get inside the house, my entire body stops and convulses, as I end up throwing up really bad. Everything hurt, nothing felt stable as I was still really dizzy. I think Taeil was yelling for someone, but all I could hear was a buzzing noise around me. Then, next thing I know, everything goes black.

Third person pov
"Okay, I'll see what I can do."
"Will he be okay though? He won't slip into a coma right?"
"No, he only had a minor fainting spell."
"But you never know, it could happen. What if he's never going to wake up?"
"Mark, calm down. He'll wake up. For now, go relax and I'll call you when he wakes."
Kun managed to calm a nervous Mark and lead him out of the room for some fresh air. He didn't blame the younger for feeling this way, he, too, was nervous.
Haechan wasn't exactly a new thing to him, but at the same time he was a mystery to figure out. He also slowly developed a soft spot for the younger and felt the need to protect him. He's seen his kind before.
Kun wasn't new to the lab experimental people. In fact, his old colleague was one as well. He hoped he could get in contact with her so that maybe Haechan can have some guidance through this all, even if it's just to say that he's not alone in this.
"Kun, any update?" Taeyong asks, after knocking on the door and walking into the room.
"His body is reacting harshly to the withdrawal of not having whatever drugs and chemicals they gave to him to keep his body strong enough to withstand these intense powers that he possesses. He's lived all his life with the injections and toxic medications."
Taeyong scrunches his eyebrows in confusion and worry. "So, basically, his body is killing him?"
Kun sighed. He didn't know how to respond. On one hand, yes, his body was slowly killing him from not being able to rely on the harsh toxins. Although, he knew there had to be a way of fixing this problem and helping him get his body stable enough.

Haechan's pov
The pounding in my head has never been so loud. It all hurt so bad and I could barely hear the talking beside me because of the pain. My eyes squeezed tightly and I slowly open them for the first time after waking. I was instantly greeted with the light that seemed as bright as the sun, which caused me to groan a little too loudly.
"Haechan, you're awake. How are you feeling right now?"
Kun's question ricocheted around my head, causing more pain on top of the already existing.
My eyes squeezed back shut. "I feel like I'm dying. Can you shut off the light please? It's too bright in here."
Kun complied and shortly after, the room filled with darkness. The light from a room down the hall trickled into the room we were in currently, giving us the ability to at least see the shape of each other.
"Kun, can I have a word with him for a bit?" Taeyong asks. I think Kun agreed because I hear some shuffling and the door shutting, giving me the indication that he left.
"Can you tell me what happened earlier? Why are you in this situation? Haechan, I was so worried about you."
My body releases some of the tension that was forming. Hearing that made me feel a little better. He's like the mom I never had.
"Taeil and I did some more training. I didn't think this would happen. I wanted to be good enough for the missions and I wanted to make you proud." I said the last part a little more on the quiet side, slightly embarrassed to mention it.
"Have you had any kind of pain before? I mean, when using your powers? Also, you don't need to prove yourself, Channie. You're already so strong and my team is lucky to have you."
I sigh, "I guess, I always have a headache after I use my powers. It's mainly when I teleport, though. I just didn't think it would get this dangerous. What's wrong with me, Taeyong?"
"Kun says your body is having a terrible reaction to going without the drugs your lab gave you. If you were having discomfort when using your powers, why didn't you tell me? I don't want to push you past your limits. You may not have been here for very long, but I really care about you. You are apart of my family."
I start to tear up after hearing that. The stress of this all was getting to me. I was trying too hard and it got my body in trouble. Why can't I seem to do anything right?
"I don't want to stop using my powers, though. I start to get restless if I don't use them for too long. I once had to go an entire month without being able to use them because the lab wanted to see what would happen. It was terrible, like having a leg cramp you can't stretch out."
Taeyong stays quiet for a moment, before responding. "Okay, we can keep this going, but we should keep it to a minimum. Who knows what might happen if you over exert yourself again. I don't think I could bare something worse happening to you and I think Mark might actually go insane if you even just get a scrape on your knee."
I laugh at that last part. It felt good knowing that Mark worried for my well being. It also gave me a fluttery feeling just thinking about it and about him. I really need to sort out these feelings soon.
