The drive to this new house was really bumpy and made Haechan glad to finally be out of the car when they arrived. The plane ride was nothing compared to the road that led to this place.

He glanced up at the house and stopped to stare at it. It wasn't too big, but it was beautiful. The architecture was so intricate and mesmerizing.

It looked like a modern log cabin that had so many large windows framed with dark wood. They even had a large garden that decorated the front yard beautifully.

He felt someone slide their hand in his so he looks down to find Mark's beautifully accentuate his own. This was how it was supposed to be. Their thumbs mindlessly rub against each other, almost like they were memorizing the way the skin wrapped around the surface of the other's hand.

"Hey," Mark quietly says, causing Haechan to look up at him. Their eyes capture the other's. Happiness danced in their irises as they smiled at each other. "Let's go inside. Everyone will be excited to see you."

At first neither one moved, wanting to enjoy as much time together in this moment as they could, but Taeyong's shouting interrupted them.

"Will you guys hurry up? Ice cream is melting."

Haechan laughs and pulls Mark towards the front door. They run over the long stone path that led up to the wooden stairs to the door. It was so welcoming.

He had one hand on the doorknob as Haechan twists it open, revealing a beautiful entryway with a staircase pointing at the door a couple feet away. The walls were off white and the floor was wooden, the color lighter than the wood outside the house and matched the staircase. It made Haechan feel at home.

The sound of clicking on the hard wood captures Haechan's attention. As soon as he sees what was coming towards him, he gasps. Running to him was a small, happy puppy. It was the cutest thing ever as she stumbles slightly from running too quickly, little barks escaping from her.

"Oh, say hi to Bella! She's the cutest," Mark says while crouching down to pet the dog. "She's a sweetheart." Haechan joins him, excited to meet a dog for the first time.

It seemed like she was interested in him and jumped up to lick his face. This was hilarious to Haechan as he laughed, trying to get her to calm down. The excitement from the dog was contagious.

"Bella! Where'd you go?" A familiar voice was heard coming down the hall. When Haechan looked up, his eyes met with a wide eyed Lucas. Immediately after the shock hit him, the older turns around and runs off. Haechan laughs as he hears the other screaming down the hall from them.

"I think they know you're back now," Mark laughs with the younger. "I'm glad you're back, Channie."

A giggle ripples through the younger as he heard Mark whisper that last part to him. He felt very happy in this moment. As he continued petting the dog, more shouts arose nearby.

Haechan was a bit nervous, he didn't know how they would react to seeing him again. Would they be upset because he left? They really needed him last time, but he ran away. He did manage to kill the gang leader, so at least he helped that way, but what about when they had to run to the hospital? He left them.

"Haechan!!!"

All of a sudden he was thrown into a giant group hug. It was hard to tell who was all there, but he was relieved to see he still mattered to them.

They all break apart finally and he can see most of the gang had shown up. "I love how you went out for ice cream and comfort food because you were sad about Haechan, but then you come back with a Haechan. That's a way to relieve sadness if I ever saw," Johnny laughs, as he pats Haechan's back. Everyone began teasing Mark, saying how he kept moping around. Haechan found it cute.

"Hey, where's Kun?" He asks, once the rowdiness calmed down a bit. Haechan needed to see him.

"I'll take you to him. I think he's doing some research in his office." Mark replies. He took ahold of his hand. As they walked off, some of the guys were complaining about how they wanted to take him. It was funny to hear and he was glad they didn't change.

Once they reached his office, Haechan gulped nervously. Mark decided he needed to see him on his own. It was something he should do by himself.

He waits for a reply after he knocks on the door and when he heard one, he immediately walks in. Kun didn't see him at first as he was absorbed in something on his laptop, but Haechan stood there, tears filling his eyes. Kun was okay, he was alive.

The sound of the younger's entrance made Kun finally look up and when he did, his eyes widen. It was as if Haechan was a mind illusion to Kun because he didn't believe that the other was standing there in front of him. The emotions crash down on both as they both start sobbing in a tight hug.

"Haechan. How are you? I missed you so much. I'm sorry I gave you a scare when you left." He pulls away and they both sit down in a set of chairs around the desk. "Tell me everything. Did you meet my friend?"

It was hard for him to start talking as he was still wrapped up in emotions from this reunion. It didn't feel real. He wipes some tears away, followed by a couple of sniffles.

"Yeah, I met Yeri. Well, she actually found me." He smiles at remembering their first encounter. She terrified him, but at the same time he felt calm around her. It was weird to him. "She's actually here in Korea with me. Only visiting, but she said she wanted to see you." That news made Kun smile so widely.

"I'm so glad. Did she help you? She's always had a healing aura." Haechan nodded happily. She really did have that kind of presence and he was glad. It made adjusting to the new place a lot easier.

"How are you doing though? I never did get to say thank you. I don't deserve to have you sacrifice your life for me." Kun shook his head at Haechan, dismissing his words.

"No, you matter. A lot. Okay? This gang loves you so much and you need to stay alive. You're important. I'm fine now, though. I mean it was kind of dumb, I will admit that, but I was willing to risk everything because you've done so much for us." It was overwhelming for Haechan to hear the older tell him that. He didn't know how to feel. It was amazing luck that Haechan had, to have a person like Kun in his life.

"So, how was America?" Kun asks with a big smile on his face.
