"WHAT'S UP, FUCKERS?!"

"Jaemin, you can't just scream that whenever you walk in the house."

"I do as I please."

A high pitch laughter follows, as well as a loud sigh.

A couple of us were sitting in one of the living rooms watching a movie when some rowdy kids disrupted us. My curiosity got the best of me and I turned to Mark with a raised eyebrow.

"That's the dreamies. Them and Renjun go to school together and they are our hacking team."

"Jaemin, really? You don't need to announce your arrival. Also, this house is huge, how do you manage to project your voice that loud?" Taeyong nags, as Jaemin and the rest of them come into the living room with us.

"Ooh, fresh blood! Who's the new kid? He's cute. Hi, I'm Jaemin and I run this place."

"Ha, you wish." A voice from one of the boys behinds him laughs. "I'm Jeno, this is Jisung and Chenle."

I wave at them, still feeling socially awkward. They seem entertaining.

"Guys, this is Haechan. He's going to be staying here for awhile and yes he's aware that we are a gang."

I silently thank Mark for speaking for me. Why do I have to be so shy?

"Tae, can we talk to you about something?" Taeyong nods and gets up with Jaehyun following behind. The two go after Jeno and Jaemin, leaving the two younger boys to steal the previous couple's spot on the couch.

They're all so different it's really interesting. How many more do I still have to meet? This house is huge so there has to still be more. I make a mental note to ask Mark about that later.

"Hey, Haechan, have you gotten to see the basement yet?" Jisung asks. I shake my head in response. I hadn't really seen much of the house really. Except the kitchen, my room, and the living room.

The two boys get up from the couch and approach me. I look up in confusion, but then realize they were trying to get me to follow them.

I was brought to a door that lead downstairs. I admired the walls as we make our way down. They were covered in different street signs. This is the coolest thing ever. Different kinds of yield signs, a couple of stop signs, multiple street name signs, and some 'one way' signs scattered all over.

"So many signs."

The younger boys chuckle at my amazement. "We steal them."

Chenle hits the other on the arm, "You can't just say that!"

"Well, we are in a gang."

"Okay, but-"

"How are you guys in a gang? You guys seem so young," I interrupt their argument.

"Uh, well, Jisung and I are really close with Jaehyun and he kind of took us in after we both got kicked out of our homes. We never really planned on being in the gang, it just kind of happened. Jaehyun, and everyone else, take really good care of us. We all have some kind of messed up background that connects and makes us feel like a home. We're all struggling, but we do it together."

I nod, listening to Chenle's words. These two don't seem like the type to be in a gang. Isn't it too dangerous? I want to ask more about their background, but I decide to just settle with the topic of the gang in general.

Finding a seat on one of the big, brown, plush couches, I continue, my questions impatiently waiting to be asked. "Why is everyone in this gang? Do you guys kill people? Isn't this dangerous?"

Chenle and Jisung both chuckle humorlessly. Jisung decides to answer this time. "We aren't the bad guys. Well, we also aren't the good guys. We exist to take down those gangs that want nothing, but to murder innocent civilians. If that means killing them, then so be it. We do what we have to do. It's pretty dangerous, but we know what we signed up for, we expect it. Taeyong takes really good care of us. He may seem like he's hard on us and rough, but he's actually really sweet and like a mother to all of us. He cares for the whole gang and wants the best for us."

I was right. He was a sweet person under that facade. "So, how many more of you are there?"

"There's a lot of us. In this house, twenty one people live here. In our gang, Neo culture, we have fifty seven people. I doubt you will ever meet them they're more seen as alliances that merged into our gang and use our name."

My eyes widen as I heard the amount of people living here. That is one big family.

"We haven't even gotten to the best part of the basement yet!"

I follow the two boys out of the room and down a hallway. This basement was so fancy with expensive looking furniture and a lot of framed movie posters on the walls. I also noticed a couple of huge bean bag chairs in the lounge area. There was also a bar and bar stools, along with neon signs placed on the wall behind the counter. There was so much going on.

"Okay, here we are!"

We walk down a short set of stairs into a massive room. I felt my jaw drop and my eyes widen as I saw what filled the room. It was an entire arcade!

I always saw these in movies, but never experienced it in real life. It was exciting. So many games. It was hard to choose where to go everything grabbed my attention with all of the flashing lights and goofy songs.

"How- this- wow."

"Chenle, I think we broke him."
