NIKA'S POV
Nandito kami ngayon ni mommy sa mall para bumili ng gifts. Bukas na kasi ang Christmas party namin then Christmas na in 5 days. Grabe, ang bilis ng araw. In a few days, new year nanaman. New year, new life. May magbabago nga kaya sa buhay ko? Sigh.
"Eto, gusto mo?" Tanong sa 'kin ni mommy habang hawak niya yung color red na dress.
"Sige ma."
Ang dami na ngang hawak ni mommy na damit eh. Kanina pa siya tanong ng tanong kung gusto ko ba yung mga damit na pinipili niya. Um-oo nalang din ako dahil alam kong way na din 'to ni mommy para maging close kami. Kumbaga, bonding moment na din namin 'to.
After 123456789 years (note the sarcasm) dumeretso na kami sa cashier para bayaran yung mga damit pati na rin yung ibang gifts.
After, we went straight to Sbarro to eat dinner. Nagke-crave daw kasi si mommy sa pizza e. And ako, gusto ko din ng lasagna. Kaya nag-agree na din ako kasi ayaw ko ng rice.
"May pang exchange gift ka na ba bukas?" Mommy asked me while wiping her lip.
"Opo."
"How about kay Anna and Angelique?" I half smiled when I remeber what I bought them.
Close na din talaga yung dalawang babae na yun kay mommy.
"Yes ma."
"Kay Christian?"

SA DAMI NG BIBIGYAN KO NG GIFTS NAKALIMUTAN KO SIYA
AS IN OH MY
SA LAHAT NG MAKAKALIMUTAN KO SIYA PA
I guess my mom already know my answer based on my reaction.
"Okay so, what do you want to give him?"
Ano nga ba?
I have no idea. I'm no good in choosing gifts.
This is frustrating me!
"I don't know ma. Help me?" *insert puppy eyes*
"Sige. Later. What do you think will make him happy?"
Bakit ba naman kasi ang hirap mag-isip ng regalo sa lalaki eh! Sigh
Totoo o totoo? Agree kayo diba?
"Bracelet? Shirt? Polo shirt? Cologne? Shoes? I don't know ma."
"Kaya namang bilihin ni Christian lahat yan. Think of the things na ikaw lang ang makakapag-bigay sa kanya. Christian is a warm-hearted person. Mas ma-aappreciate niya yung bagay na pinag-eeffort-an."
TING! *insert bulb here*
"Ahhhh! Ma samahan mo ko bumili ng ingredients para pang gawa ng cupcakes!"
"Good idea!"
And so after, we went straight to the market to buy some ingredients!
I hope this is a good idea! I'm not good when it comes to baking. I really don't have any idea how to bake. It seems like, I will really put so much effort in here.
