Chapter 29

Y/n POV
3 hours pass and our team has killed at least 5 people.

We killed Taeil, Minho, Han, Johnny, and Hendery.

Jaemin and Jisung both went up on each floor to count how many people are out.

Almost everybody got 'killed' except for the 6 of us and 6 others. Usually the end of the battle is between 2 teams.

And those 2 teams usually is Renjun, Lucas, Johnny, Hendery, Doyoung, and Yuta. And on the second team is usually Jaehyun, WinWin, Taeil, Taeyong, Jeno, and Kun.

From what the 2 boys told us, people from the 2 teams, teamed up since some of their guys 'died'.

So no our rival team includes Taeyong, Doyoung, Jeno, Yuta, WinWin, and of course Renjun.

Now that I think about this long game we always play, it honestly gives us a lot of practice.

30 minutes later
Author POV
The 6 of them make a plan and decide to finally head out of the basement and into the war zone aka the living room.

To make it easier and safer for the 2 surviving teams, the members who were 'killed' earlier in the game, moved to the second floor which is where 127's rooms are.

Ten peaks his head into the living room to see where the opponent team is.

Once he sees them, he whispers to his teammates that they're on guard with weapons ready.

"Get your weapons ready." Whispers Ten.

The 6 of them get their weapons ready. Following their plan, Ten gets into position to shoot, him being a sniper for U and WayV.

The 5 of us watch as he pulls the trigger multiple times.

Changbin whispers, "Who'd you shoot?"

"Yuta, Doyoung, and WinWin. Now come on, we gotta hide before Renjun, Taeyong, and Jeno find us-"

"Wait", Chenle cuts him off. "I have a 'grenade', let's use it just in case."

We all agree and watch as he yells "Grenade" And throws the sock into the living room. The 6 of us scramble to hide. We ended up hiding in the pantry where I found Changbin earlier.

"I think that after whichever team wins, I should probably check Dream and WayV's files before it's too late." I say mumble my thoughts out loud.

Jisung looks at me, "Don't forget to do your files either. You're a member of NCT, don't forget that." He ruffles my hair.

I crawl over to Ten and Chenle and sit in between the two. "I hope we win for once. We always lose this stupid war thing."

Ten and I agree with Chenle. I decide to stand up and grab one of the weapons laying on the floor in the pantry.

"Y/n, where are you going? Don't you dare be going out there by yourself. You know how Renjun can be with an opponent, especially since you're smaller than him." Jaemin warns.

I ignore them telling me to not go out there. "I know I'm still injured on my neck, but this entire game I haven't really killed anybody. You all have killed at least 1 person. I wanna be helpful…

…Only Jeno, Taeyong, and Renjun are left. This shouldn't be to hard, right? Anyways, if I need help then I'll just yell one of your names." I slowly open the pantry door and check if it's clear.

Once it's clear, quietly, I make my way into the living room. It turns out that the 'grenade' killed Jeno and Taeyong.

Probably because Renjun is a lot smaller than them so he escaped.

I look around and see Renjun nowhere to be found.

Huh? He was just here.

"Y/n."

I spin around and see him standing in the doorway between the kitchen and living room.

"Renjun, I'm still wondering how you managed to make a full out war happen just from attacking Lucas."

He chuckles and takes a couple steps closer to me. I step back knowing that he'll most likely shoot me or something.

"What are you doing out here alone. We're your 2 teammates to scared?" I laugh hysterically.

"Ha! No, actually Ten is the one who killed half of your team while Chenle killed Taeyong and Jeno. Plus we have Changbin, Jaemin, and Jisung on our team right now."

I smirked when I got an idea. "Guys! I need backup!" I scream.

Renjun's eyes widen as he turns around and sees my team aiming at him. I take this chance to point and aim my gun at his back.

Good thing I grabbed the machine gun.

I then hold down the trigger and watch multiple nerf bullets shooting out at a time.

Renjun dramatically falls to the ground.

"Yay~ we finally won!" We all cheer.
