Chapter # 8 The Museum Trip part: 1

She walked down the hall, her shoe sole making sound when it collides with marble flour.

She stopped in front of a wooden door.

breathing deeply, she opened up the door and stepped inside. it was a dark room, the only source of light was a giant window.

She silently closed the door behind her.

"We failed again, didn't we?" a figure materialized from the corner.

"Yes, but I am sure our plan is going smoothly." Lila Rose fiddled with the file she was holding.

"I am sure," the figure walked towards the window.

She was a woman not much older than Lila, with midnight hair laying on her shoulders.

Lila placed the file on the table.

"Do they know?"

Lila asked the women, "Know what?"

"Me, being alive."

"I don't think so Kagami, I am sure poor Adrian is still lamenting over the loss of his dear friend," Lila said in a mocking tone.

The woman named Kagami played with the ring on her finger, showing the crest of her family.

"Hmm, and Flint?"

Lila hesitated for a split second.

"No, but he is playing his part well without even knowing it," Lila smirked.

"I am sure the boy would be a great help in the future." Kagami looked at Lila smirking and unveiled her brown orbs.

"After all who is the mother." Lila snickered to herself.

Today was the weekend means no school or whatsoever for Emma Agreste.

She slept late till morning exhausted from the late-night show.

She woke up got dressed and joined the twins for a trip to the museum.

"Hey, Emma." twins waved at their friend.

"Emma, you are late," Sara complained.

"Sorry, guys." Emma smiled sheepishly.

"Come on you two." excited Sara dragged her twin brother and best friend inside the museum.

Sara started taking pictures of ancient artifacts and blabbering about their history.

Even they had heard that hundreds of times they started listening to her speech one more time.

"Can you imagine guys this is thousands of years old!" Sara exclaimed her dark eyes twinkling.

"Hey, Emma?" Jaden whispered.

she whispered back, "Yes, Jaden."

"I don't want to have a headache," he rustled and pulled Emma with himself leaving the blabbering girl behind.

When they were out of sight they started laughing hysterically.

"You know, when she will know she is gonna have a fit," said Emma between her giggles.

"There is nothing I cant handle right, Emma.?"

"Yeah, except your mad twin sister." Jaden pouted at her and she laughed harder.

"Not fair your lucky you dont have a bossy sister."

"Yeah, sure whatever."

"Hello Emma and Jaden." their redhead friend Carolina waved with their black-haired fellow student Adele.
