Chapter # 30 Illusions of the past.

"I don't think, it's a good idea for you to leave," Lila said to the other occupant in the room.

"If you think that I am that stupid to blow my cover, then you are wrong, Lila."

"I know, Kagami, Just don't make me regret." With that Lila left the room.

 Kagami closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

'No one gonna know who I am, Kagami Tsurugi died that day.' she thought bitterly.

Picking up her shades and walking cane Kagami left the darkroom.

Sitting in the car Kagami ordered the driver to take her to the venue.

After a thirty minutes drive, the car reached its destination and Kagami walked out wearing shades and a scarf wrapped around her head covering her hair.

She walked towards the audience podium where she could see Marinette with her family laughing.

Kagami looked away focusing her gaze on the stage.

"And now ladies and gentlemen, our most waited performance." there was great applause in the audience.

"welcome our honorable guest the heartthrob of France Luka Couffaine..." Kagami was frozen at her spot.

'What is he doing here?' she wanted to leave but something held her at her spot.

She closed her eyes tuning out all the voices of the crowd and just focusing on his voice.

Just like the last time she heard, a call of an angel she opened her eyes and looked at his eyes. the passion was still there for his work they were still bright blue of color. it was sad because she was the only one who knows how many demons lays behind those enchanted pair of eyes.

Those demons that destroyed her life and her career, left her vulnerable to the world.

'You will pay Luka Couffaine on every tear you have caused.' with that she stands up and leaves the audience.

She was crossing the road lost in thoughts when she heard a yell and was thrown on the footpath.

"Are you okay, Mam?" someone asked.

she looked up and was met by a very familiar-looking face.

"are okay, mam?" he asked again.

"I am fine, thank you."

"The car was just about to hit you, Mam, if it wasn't for Flint." Another voice joined that was of a blond girl.

"Oh no, Flint, your knees." The girl gasped.

"What?" he looked down and saw his bruised knee, "We have to take you to the hospital." the girls said.

"I am fine, Agreste Jr."

'so, she is Adrian's daughter'

"no, you are not, you need medical attention, now."

"You should ask her If she is fine Agreste Jr, not me." The woman was standing still, Emma couldn't see her eyes but the cane in her hand signaled that she was a blind woman.

"I am sorry, Mam, are you hurt? we can take you to hospital."

"No need to do anything young ones, I should leave now." with that the woman left them.

"that was eventful," Emma murmured.

"What about the hoodie you were supposed to give me?" 

"Not so fast, Flint, First we are taking you to take care of your knees,"

"I told you I am fine."

"No, I am not leaving you to bleed to death," Emma stated firmly.

 "I am not going to die, Agreste Jr., it's just a scratch."

"Whatever you think Flint but you are coming with me."

"Alright, Agreste Jr." Flint follows Emma, unaware of the figure standing at the distance observing.
