Emma Agreste placed the little kitten on her bed after she came back from her friend's house.

"Stay right here, until I come back," she told the cat.

"Mom!" Emma called out to her mother.

"yes, darling," Marinette was sitting on her working desk looking over some files.

"Do we still have the bed of your hamster before he died?"

"Of course, but why do you need it?"

"I may have adopted a pet,"

"The bed is in the attic and where did you found whatever you've adopted?"

"it's a cat and I found him in an alley."

"What? in an alley?!" Marinette almost yelled.

"I found him in an alley and he was abandoned. the poor little thing was alone and all on his own and wounded." Emma pouted at her mother.

"Alright, but we have to visit the physician first."

"you are the best, mom." Emma ran upstairs.

Emma was joined by her friends after she came back from her visit to a physician with her new pet cat.

"I hope your mom took it well with your new pet, Emma." Jaden slurped his smoothie as they set down on a bench.

"she took it better than I expected."

"so, how is the cat?" Sara looked thoughtful for a moment, "you know we can't keep calling him a cat, you should name him."

"he was sleeping when I left home to meet you guys and Yes, I was thinking the same thing." Emma tapped her chin.

"What about 'Chat'?" Sara suggested, she knew her brother was going to object.

"Hell no! you are not naming him after Chat Noir," Jaden exclaimed and then looked over at Emma, "are you, Emma?"

"Not really, we are not naming him Chat, it would not make any sense."

"See, told you, Sara," Jaden looked smug.

"Whatever,"

"So, as I was---" Emma was cut off by a loud sound.

"What was that?"

"I don't know," they shifted in their seats and craned their neck to look at the direction of the voice.

Emma recognized the boys standing in a group, surrounding someone she couldn't see properly from her seat.

she glanced at her friends to see if they had recognized them as well and she was right, they were looking concerned as the boys who were their seniors do not have a good reputation to uphold.

Emma asked, "What are they doing?"

"Probably bullying some kid," Sara answered.

"shouldn't we be stopping them from bullying?"

"Hey Emma, isn't he the same guy who proposed you to be his valentine?" he pointed at the boy with dirty blond hair that was messy. he was facing the opposite direction, but Emma was sure that he was the same guy who made her hide in a locker to survive, easily the most horrible day of her life.

"Yes, Jaden he is the same guy."

"But who are they bullying anyway,"

"I don't know, but I am not going to sit here while they do whatever they are doing," Sara stood up with determination etched on her face.
