Chapter: 9 The Museum Trip Part: 2

Emma walked out of the museum with her friend twins.

"Next time you are not planing our weekend trip, Sara," Jaden informed her.

"Why not?" Sara pouted.

"Because you always choose boring and educational places."

"It doesn't hurt to learn something new."

"I don't want to see old scary mummies in their coffins."

"Then you should see your face in the mirror more often, it gives me frights."

"How dare you, Sara!"

"it's just me or your too seeing a living Egypt mummy," Emma said wide-eyed.

"What are you talking about?"

Twins snapped their heads in the direction Emma was pointing.

Their eyes went wide like saucers they gawked at the lady in Egyptian outfit with red gleaming eyes, as she charged in their direction.

Emma's ladybug instincts came handy in time, she grabbed their hands and pulled them both with her behind a pillar.

"What was that?!" Jaden shrieked.

"A Real-life walking Egyptian Mummy."

"What?!"

Sara scolded him, "Shut up Jaden! It would've not happened if you had shown some respect for them."

"Let's not start arguing again and try to find someplace to hide."

"Yeah, she is not looking friendly to me." Sara and Emma facepalmed.

"This side," Emma lead them inside.

When they were good feet away from her, she stopped in her tracks and turned back to the exit.

"Tikki it's time---" she cut off by some villain minions charging at her.

Now, Emma Agreste was officially surrounded by villain minions.

"Oh, crap I can't transform in open." Emma cursed the superhero rule book for making such rules, if there was an in existence.

Chat noir jumped and picked up a blond girl whom he was thinking earlier this day

He jumped on a rooftop where she should be safe.

"There you go," he placed her on her feet.

"Thanks," she murmured.

"Are some kind of trouble magnet blondie?" he asked her innocently.

"of course, not." the girl looked offended.

"Relax, I am just teasing." he winked at her and jumped off the rooftop.

"What was that...?" the red Kwami asked her.

"we will ponder on that later, now let's transform!"

"Nice of you to drop in, Ladybug." ladybug landed beside him with the sound of a thud.

"Why so happy today?" she asked smirking.

"Just had a good day until an Akuma thought to ruin it."

"Where is the Akuma, any guess?" ladybug tossed her yoyo at one the minions.

"I think, her pendant." chat muttered.

"I am Regina Egypt( A/N: please bear with me and my choice of hilarious name and Regina translates to queen in Latin) give your miraculous or you all will suffer my wrath."

Great another demanding Akuma victim.

"Chat, you go for the cronies, I will handle the Queen." ladybug ordered him.

"On to it, ladybug" chat said while kicking a mummy.

(After a fight sequence.)

Ladybug was captured by Akuma and chat noir was nowhere to be seen.

She struggled in their clutches.

"Now now ladybug, no need to rush." the minions held her

tightly, "I am not going to take your miraculous... yet."

"What are you planning?" ladybug demanded.

"No spoilers, ladybug." she turned to her minions.

"Bring the sacrifice," she ordered them.

"Where are you, Chat?" she whispered.

The minions were holding a very scared looking Jaden.

Ladybug's eyes widen at the sight.

she asked in a low voice, "What are you going to do with him?"

"It's obvious, ladybug" the villain chuckled evilly, "I am going to sacrifice that boy for my hundred years eternal love ritual."

Ladybug looked around as for trying to find a way out of this.

Regina held a sword above the neck of Jaden, who was mumbling prayers at the time.

"STOP!" all head snapped in the direction of the voice.

Chat Noir was standing there holding his hands up.

"Are you seriously going to sacrifice that lame boy?" he questioned raising his brows which were currently hiding in his black mask.

"Hey! I am not LAME." Jaden complained, but was ignored.

"I mean... I am much better-sacrificing material you know," he flexed her muscles and glanced at ladybug.

'buy your time' he mouthed.

she nodded lightly.

"plus you can have my miraculous," chat smirked when a thoughtful expression appeared on the villain's face.

"Alright, leave the boy I wonder if Egyptian gods like cat meal." the sharp sword was held above her partner now.

when the grasp of her captor loosened and the next moment ladybug freed herself.

"Lucky charm!"

(After the Defeat of Akuma)

"Are you okay?" ladybug asked the dark-skinned girl.

"I am fine." Adele held her head.

"Good."

"Ladybug, have you seen Emma Agreste," Jaden asked.

"you mean a girl with blond hair and blue eyes."

"yes,"

"Can't say I have," she answered sheepishly.

"she was with us and then disappeared, I was worried,"

he asked, concerned about well being of his friend.

"Don't worry," chat who was now standing next to ladybug said, "I have taken her to a safe place, she must be looking for you." chat felt his chest tighten, No It could not be jealousy he told himself.

"Thanks, both of you." Jaden left the duo alone.

"you should not put your life at stake every time we fight an Akuma." ladybug said softly.

he winked at her, "but in the end its always worth it."

"Goodbye chat."

"till next time, Ladybug." then he did something, surprising both of them.

he held her hand and softly kissed her knuckles.

"till next time," she whispered but he was already gone.
