Chapter # 16 those Old Memories....

its a special chapter cuz in this chapter we are going to focus on the back story of our heroes... Mostly Luka and Kagami's back story.

He walked down the wet pavement that leads to the cemetery. the drops of rain falling on his black hoodie, that was currently pulled up to cover his head.

the wet strands of his blue-dyed hair resting idly on his forehead and some falling over his electric blue eyes. he wiped his hair back with his left hand and the other was holding a white flower bouquet.

as the rain fell his mind whirled with all the memories he had buried in his heart for the past fifteen years.

(Flashback)

he stood there watching Marrinete Dupain-Chaing walking down the aisle to her soon to be husband, Adrian Agreste.

followed by the maid of honor and best friend of the bride, Alya.

the couple was smiling gleefully at each other, while he stood with other guests in the hall.

It was not like he did not see it coming, he did long ago when they were mere teenagers.

and finally, today was the day when his friend Marrinete was marrying her long love, Adrian.

from the corner of his eyes, he saw another girl with midnight hair, approaching the lovers.

she gave the couple a warming hug and best wishes.

the girl with midnight hair, he recognized as Kagami Tsurugi.

Adrian's best friend and the girl who once liked Adrian.

he had seen the girl several times before, but never got the chance of formal introduction.

the girl was not very talkative and never really showed much emotions, according to Marinette.

The second time he saw her at one of his concerts, Marrinete had dragged her there.

that was when they had a formal introduction.

After that short meeting Luka being a gentleman decided to drive her home.

from then their meetings continued for nearly six months and between those moments Luka realized that he had fallen for the girl with midnight hair and brown eyes.

he talked about his feelings to Marinette.

she squeaked with joy after hearing the news.

"you should tell her before it's late," Marinette said.

"I am not sure if she likes me or not." he had said.

"you will never know if you will not talk about it." Marinate urged.

and after her bit of convincing, he finally opened his heart to Kagami.

he had never seen her show much emotion in the last six months, that he saw when he told her he liked her.

she told him that she liked him too, but she needed time.

he gave her what she needed.

and one day she came to him and told him that she was ready to give them a try.

that's when they started dating.

and Luka thought that his life could not get any better when he signed a contract with a production company.

their life was perfect that's what he thought.

"you should go now, we don't want you to miss your flight," she said smiling at him.
