"And you are telling me he accepted your offer?" Sara asked, clearly surprised.

"Yes, he did and why are you asking this all over again?"

"I am just surprised, he accepted your truce."

"I was surprised myself, at first I thought he was going to retort something bad or mock me," she answered thoughtfully.

Emma was at the twins home for a Slumber party like they always did since they were little.

"I still don't like him," Jaden stated.

"did we asked about your opinion, little brother?" Sara asked sweetly.

"and also I have informed Carol of this party. she will be here any moment."

"you are forgetting, Sara, Emma is my friend too and who are you calling little here. I am much taller then you are," he says, patting Sara on her head and ignoring her last statement.

"but that does not change the fact, I came in this world seven minutes earlier than you." Sara slapped his hand away.

"Guys, are you again, going over 'who is better' argue."

"We don't need to, Emma. everyone knows who is better," he said pointing to himself and sitting beside Emma.

"haha... Jaden, that was a funny joke."

"not as funny as your face," Jaden stated in a sing-song voice.

Sara was about to riposte when the doorbell rang, signaling the arrival of a certain redhead friend for a slumber party.

Emma headed towards the door leaving bickering twins behind.

as she opened the door she was greeted by the smiling face of Carolina and Flint Joseph.

Earlier that day.....

Flint was taking a bath when his phone rang.

"kid, pick up your phone!" the cat Kwami yelled.

"wait a moment, Plagg!" he yelled back.

Flint appeared from the door wiping his damp hair with a towel, picked up his phone.

a surprise expression crossing his face just for a moment but was still noticed by Plagg.

"who is it, kid?"

"it's a friend from school." he walked towards the dressing mirror.

"Hello,"

"Hey, Flint it's Carolina." came the answer.

the first thing Emma wanted to say was 'what are you doing here...?' to Flint.

but she stopped herself and smiled at both of them.

"Hey, Emma," Carolina greeted, with a wave of her hand.

"Hello, Carolina and Flint." she stepped aside for them to enter.

"you are here, it's going to be amazing with both of you." Sara greeted, enthusiastically.

"were we not enough for you," Jaden grumbled.

"what was that?"

"Nothing," Jaden declared loudly.

"let's do something fun or whatever you want to." Sara linked her arms with Flint and Carolina's and dragged them to the lounge, with Emma and Jaden trailing behind her.

"so, what do we do first?"

"Ohh, I know. we can play video games," said Jaden.

"what do you guys say?"

"I am fine with it."

"Yeah, it's fine."

"same here,"

"let's do this."

After an hour...

"it's getting boring,"

"and I am getting hungry too," Jaden stated.

"let's eat something before we start our movie marathon." Sara stood up and headed towards the kitchen.

"I am sorry guys but, I don't think I will stay for the movie marathon."

Flint said running a hand through his hair.

"Why?" Sara stopped in her tracks.

"I have some business to take care of."

"you can go, but first you have to eat the Greatest cookies made by our Great friend, Emma."

Sara pulled Emma off of the couch.

"Now, go and bring cookies."

"Alright," Emma sighed and walked towards the kitchen.

Flint smiled at the best friends and looked over at Carolina who was frowning for some reason.

Flint was standing at the doorway, saying his farewell.

"I think we should do this again sometimes," Sara says, enthusiastically.

"I would love that," Flint spoke.

"Goodbye, Sara and Agreste Jr." glancing last time at Emma, Flint was gone.

"I like his nickname for Emma." Sara playfully bumped her hips with Emma's.

"Whatever, I don't like it a bit."

"it's not every day a guy like Flint gives a nickname to a girl."

"he just say that to tease me, because he knows it will get on my nerves."

"Glad to see you are finally home and who you were talking to." Lila Rose descended the staircase gracefully, Flint stood in the middle of the hall.

"No one, Glad to see you care," he muttered.

"I heard that, Flint." Lila raised a brow at her son.

"If you don't mind, mother, I am going to my room to change."

"now, Flint, I want to ask you how was your little trip to your friend's house," she asked standing in front of him.

"It was fine."

"just fine?" another eyebrow was raised.

"Yes."

"Why does it seems that you are hiding something from me, hmm?"

his eyes met the familiar olive eyes of his mother.

"don't forget, Flint, I am your mother." with her last sentence Lila walked away.

Flint released a breath.

"We were almost caught Plagg."

The Kwami popped his head out.

"We have to be extra careful kid." Flint nodded in agreement.
