Chapter # 37 The Miraculous Guardian.

Emma wakes up with the noise of someone's sneeze, "Keep it down!" she said groggily.

"Sorry, *sneeze* Emma."

"What happened, Tikki?" She asked, shaking off her sleep.

"I think I've captured cold," Emma turned towards the Kwami.

"I thought Kwamis don't fall sick." 

"What happened with all the water yesterday,"

"Ohh," Emma bit her lip it has been her mistake to jump without giving a second thought.

"Don't feel guilty, Emma," the Kwami smiled assuringly.

"But it was my fault, Tikki, I was not thinking straight." 

"No, Emma, you did *sneeze* what you thought was right." Tikki hugged the distraught girl.

"Thanks, Tikki, " after a moment Emma asked. "What are we gonna do about your cold...?"

"I know someone who can help us."

"Who?" Emma asked curiously.

"The Miraculous Guardian." Emma gasped.

"What?!"

"the one who gave you your miraculous," Tikki whispered.

"Really?" Tikki confirmed with a nod, "then we are leaving right after breakfast."

"I am leaving to meet my friends."

"Okay, Emma have fun." Emma hugged her grandparents.

"I will, Bye," She left her grandparents house watching the latest news on her phone.

"Is the house far from here, Tikki?" She asked Kwami.

"It's only fifteen to twenty minutes on feet."

"Alright, we will walk" She walked a little further.

"Oye! Agreste Jr!" she heard a familiar voice calling her.

"What is it, Flint?" She doesn't want to sound annoyed.

"Nothing in particular," he stopped in front of her, "Where are you going?"

"It's none of your business." She narrowed her eyes at him.

"Geesh...  Agreste Jr. have you eaten something sour in breakfast,"

"Seeing you this early is worse," she mumbled loud enough for him to hear, "So, is there any particular reason you have stopped me middle on this street." she wanted to get away from him as soon as possible.

"Not really, I was just walking by and saw you here and I thought,"

"What?" she inquired.

"Just ask you how is it going, after yesterday's incident."

"I am fine, thank you."

"I heard Chat Noir saved you."

"Yes, he did." she smiled.

"So, what do you think about this cat guy?" Emma started walking towards her destination and he followed her.

"I don't know, he is a superhero" Emma shrugged.

"What do think about him?" he pressed.

"What I've observed from T.v and news, of course, he seems brave and selfless guy."

Flint smiled to himself, "and?"

"And that's pretty much enough," she looked down at the footpath. "It's not like I meet him daily on my balcony," She joked.

Flint smirked, "yeah It's not like I would've believed if you told me you meet him on your balcony,"

"Exactly," the rest of the walk was done in silence.

"So, here our way parts," Flint stopped and Emma turned to face him.

"Alright then, Bye," she said waving her hand.

"Bye, Emma,"

Emma reached a house made of wood.

"Do they still make these here?" It was made in old Chinese fashion.

She searched for a doorbell but there was none, So, she decided to knock.

"Hello!" the door was open so she stepped in.

"Master she is here,"

"I know." She heard whispers.

"Is anyone home?"

"Yes, young lady." A man who looked older and was short in stature appeared from the door.

"Hello, Master *sneeze* Fu," Tikki greeted the old man, "Hello, Wayz." Emma noticed other Kwami floating near Master Fu.

"Hey, My name is Wayz." the green Kwami bowed.

"Nice to meet you, Wayz."

"Hello, Tikki." Master looked at Emma. " and you are Emma Agreste, daughter of Adrian and Marinette,"

"you know my parents?" she asked.

"Who doesn't, And I am assuming you fell ill," he told to Tikki.

"Yes, Master,"

"is she going to be okay?" Emma asked concerned.

"She is going to fine, Emma." Master Fu smiled at the young hero and offered her tea.

"Thank you, Sir..."

"Now it's going to take some time, so, why don't you make yourself comfortable?"
