Dinah stopped back in town because she ended up not packing enough. She asked to meet Lauren for lunch before she had to leave that night for her plane.

Lauren agreed to help Dinah spare time so they met up at a Italian restaurant; Dinah really wanted fettuccine pasta.

"So...." Dinah changed the subject as the waitress walked off with their orders. "You know what I wanna know....right?"

Lauren heart rate began to speed up. "What?"

Dinah scoffed. "Girl, I wanna know how Ally is. And I wanna know everything."

"Oh," Lauren chucked out. She was so relieved. "Well I haven't really gotten much new information. The doctor checks her vitals daily and she seems to be fine. He said they checked around her brain through x-ray and there isn't any evidence of severe damage that could cause mental problems like memory loss or anything."

"Whew!" Dinah sighed. "Thank God."

"Also." I added and she frowned. "He said that due to the fact that she most likely fell asleep at the wheel before she ran off the road, she doesn't know she's been in a car accident. When she wakes up, she may panic only because she's gonna see herself all hooked up with a ventilator over her face and that would scare anybody. But other than that, he believe it's gonna be a safe landing. It will most likely be a successful awakening."

Dinah dropped her head for a few seconds before looking up at me again. "That's good. That's really good. I can sleep a little more peacefully at night now."

"I don't think any of us will be able to fully sleep peacefully until she wakes up." I said with lifted brows and Dinah nods.

Dinah cleared her throat as the waiter sat their meals in front of them and walked off.

"Speaking of us," she said while placing her napkin over her lap. "I need to talk to you."

Lauren heart rate begin to race again. She swallowed hard. "Oh? What's up?"

"Okay," Dinah said as she adjusted herself in her seat. "When I ask you this, I need you to tell me the honest-to-god truth. Don't be tryna best around the bush, just answer yes or no. Okay?"

Lauren's leg bounced fast under the table. "Okay."

"Lauren I'm serious." Dinah said with a lifted brow.

"Okay Dinah." Lauren nodded.

"What's going on between you and Ally?"

Lauren hesitates. Before she could speak, Dinah spoke again.

"Because when we were at the dinner and Ally left to go outside, I asked her about why y'all got beef and she said you stabbed her in the back years ago and you and her never really got along after that. So...I wanna know what did you do."

Lauren stared at Dinah in utter confusion. That wasn't the case at all. Although she felt like she had known Ally for years, Dinah's theory was completely out of pocket and nowhere close to what was actually going on.

"The vibe between you and Ally is so awkward. Then when Normani was in there giving her speech at the dinner, when she started talking about you, Ally looked so disgusted." Dinah giggled. "Ally hates you because of something and she can't stand the fact that you got her best friend in love with you and everybody stans y'all as a couple. It became too much for her because she wanted to choke you and she couldn't because she didn't wanna cause a scene. Oh but I understand though. Like I told Ally, I was in your shoes when I was in high school with this girl name Bianca. That-"
