Ally pushed as hard as she possibly could and Normani screamed with joy as the doctor picked up the baby. The sound of the classic newborn cry brought Ally relief as she teared up and the nurse handed the naked baby to Ally. Dinah cooed in awe and Lauren teared up.
Ally cried with happiness as she held her newborn baby against her chest while her breathing even out.
"Awww, hi handsome," Ally breathed out exhaustedly with a light smile. Lauren leaned down to look at him with the cheesiest smile.
Everyone gathered around Ally's bed to look at him and Lauren's newborn son while doctor cleaned up everything. After a few minutes, the nurse took the baby to clean him and run test and promised to bring him back.
Ally let out a harsh breath as she wiped the sweat from her forehead while the doctor stitched her up.
"I'm so proud of you!" The three girls clapped cheerfully to Ally once it was only the four of them in the room.
Ally smiled tiredly, her eyes lazy. "Thank you. I'm proud of me too. That was not easy."
"My baby was PUSHING pushing!" Lauren laughed causing Ally to giggle.
"Y'all oh my gosh," she chuckled. "That was the most intense thing I've ever done. That was more intense than me picking between Selena and JLO. Like the pain of him stretching me down there, lord have mercy."
"Well you did and it's over now," Lauren said whole caressing the side of Ally's face. Ally looked up at Lauren and Lauren quickly turned around to hide her happy tears.
"Awww Lauren!" Dinah cooed, watching Lauren quickly try to wipe her tears. "You're crying!"
Ally smiled as she tugged Lauren's arm to make her turn around.
"Honeeeey," Ally dragged. She found something so heart-warning when Lauren got emotional. She so used to Lauren being her big bad wolf. She loved when her wife got vulnerable. "C'mere. Gimme besos."
Lauren leaned down to peck Ally's warm, but damp lips.
"It's just...."Lauren sobbed. "I admire how strong you are. You carried him for nine months and I don't recall you ever complaining about your pregnancy. All you ever said was that you were ready to have him. You gave me a child. You're my superwoman. Like......y'all I'm-"
"C'mere c'mere shhhh," Ally said softly as she pulled Lauren's face to kiss her. "You don't have to explain. I know......thank you. I love you too. We made that baby together so don't just credit me."
Lauren wiped her tears and Normani helped as Dinah ran back over to the bed. "They're bringing him back!"
The nurse pushed the door open with her back and turned around as she walked in.
