- Lauren -
We all visited nearly every day and stayed for a few hours. Unless one of our careers got in the way, we were there.

A week and two days had already passed since she's been in the hospital and it felt like months had passed. The doctor said they couldn't rush her awakening. They said that it would happen when it happened.

Ally's parents came up that morning of her first night and stayed in town for about three days before they went back home. I had to leave for New York for a radio festival performance so I was away for about a 4 or five days.

Dinah is leaving tonight to go to Brazil for a performance. She'll be gone for at least two weeks. She hated that she would have to be gone that long and that she may not be here to see Ally wake up but she couldn't change her schedule. She'll be back in town a day after Thanksgiving.

Unfortunately Normani is leaving in two days for her radio tour and she'll be gone for 3 weeks. She won't make it back until at least a week before Christmas. I'm being trusted lay her and Dinah to make frequent visits to see Ally and give them updates as they come from the doctor. Not that I had a problem with it, it's just that I was gonna do that anyway.

With Normani being away for so long, kinda made me nervous. When Ally wakes up, and finds out what happened to her, she's gonna want to tell Normani about us as soon as possible. I'm gonna want to as well but I don't know how and when exactly.

It'll be the holidays by the time she gets back and I don't want to ruin it. But at the same time, I can't carry this into a whole new year. My heart won't allow me to do so. So if that mean I have to blurt it out-if I can't find another way to tell her, then so be it. But it's about time she knows. After hearing that Ally overdosed on stress relief pills, I knew we needed to confess quickly. And we will.

The morning Normani had to get up to catch her plane, I offered to drive her to the airport.

"Remember Lauren," She says while we were in the car. "Call me or text me as soon as the doctor gives new information. I don't care what it might be for. Tell me anyway and then I'll forward it to Dinah. Okay?"

"Alright." I nodded.

"And I'm not saying you have to visit Ally everyday and sit there with her all day. Just go every other day. Ask the doctor if he has new information. Will said her new car would be ready for pickup in a few days and he's gonna need somebody to go pick it up and drive to her apartment and park it because he has to leave town. I told him you'd be able to do it because you'll be in town more than me and Dinah." Normani explains to me and I nod. "Do you think you can handle all of this?"

"Yes, Mani." I nod again. "I can handle it. I got this."

"Okay." She sighs. "I'm trusting you with my best friend, Lauren."

"I know, Normani." I chuckled as we pulled into the airport. "I'm gonna look out for her. I got this. If anything comes out and I have to leave town or whatever, I'll let you know immediately."

As we parked and I helped her get her luggage out, she smiled. "Thank you so much again. I appreciate how helpful you're being. It means a lot. If I could stay, I would and I wouldn't put you through all of this."

"I know I know." I said as we walked towards the entrance of the airport. "But it's okay. You don't have to thank me. That's your best friend and I'd be the same way if I were in your shoes. So don't sweat it."

"I don't wanna leave my baby." She whined as she wrapped her arms around my waist. We were standing in the middle of the airport.

"Awww Mani," I cooed and I held her arms. "You're so cute, but you have to. Just a few days. You'll be back in no time."

"I know but I'll miss you like crazy." She poured and I smiled.

"I'll miss you too. Are you sure you have everything?" I asked.

"Lauren oh my gosh yes I have everything." She laughed. "That's your fourth time asking."

"I know but you you need to take your whole house with you so I don't want you to get on the plane and realize you forgot something." I shrugged with a lifted brow. "You know how you are."

She laughed harder. "True. But nah, I believe I got everything I needed this time."

She threw her self in my arms again. "Damn I'm gonna miss you," She mumbled again in my hair before pulling away abruptly. The intercom was calling her plane.

"I'll miss you more," I said with love. She cupped my cheeks and kissed me hard but with love. It was definitely one of those "I'll miss you" kisses. Ally always gave me those kisses when after we had spent the day together. I almost teared up thinking about it.

I pulled away and kissed her forehead, then she quickly placed a peck on my lips before rushing off.

"Love you!!" I yelled as she ran down the airport to her plane.

She threw her hand up and eventually disappeared in the crowd of people.

On my way to my car, a young girl walked up to me.

"Excuse me?" She said politely.

"Yes? May I help you?" I asked with a smile.

"Um yes." She nodded. She looked about 15 or 16 years old. "Aren't you her girlfriend?"

I hesitated, careful with my words. "W-Who told you that?"

"I'm the same girl that saw you guys at the movies." She responded and I studied her face for a moment.

"Oh yeah, I remember you." I nodded with a smile. At this point, I didn't care who knew if me and Ally dated. I really didn't know how I was gonna tell Normani anyway nor did I know when so if she found out, she found out. I'm just ready for all of this to be over. It's gotten out of hand and the love of my life is in the hospital because of this. "Yes, I'm her girlfriend."

She smiled softly before handing me a card. "Luckily I ran into you. I was just gonna send it to her P.O. Box. It's a get well soon card and a few of her fans signed it, including me. When she wakes up, tell her that her fans love her very much and we're praying for her. We know this must be hard for you so we're praying for you as well."

My heart melted at how sweet and genuine she was. I found it crazy how Ally's fans were just as sweet as Ally was.

"Thank you. Thank you so much." I smiled warmly as I took the card. "That means a lot. I'll make sure on my next visit that I take it with me. And I'll make sure I let her know when she wakes up."

The card was so pretty. It was pink with glittery stars and it had a lot of fabric on it. It looked handmade more than store bought. I made sure to hold it carefully.

"Thank you." She smiled as she hugged me. "Take care."

"No, thank you. And you too." I smiled back as I watched her walk off. I took another look at the card before I sat it in the passenger seat and started my engine.
