Ally clutched onto Lauren's hand as they walked through the mall to the exit with Santa hats on. They went Christmas shopping together for their families.

"You know," Ally sparked up conversation while looking around at how festive and happy people of L.A. looked. She loved how decorative the mall was and the smell of cinnamon from Cinnabon warmed Ally nose. "Why don't you come home with me for the holidays?"

Lauren shot her head in Ally's direction and laughed frenetically. "I've never met your family, Allyson. They don't even know me or about us. It would be awkward and we don't want that, sweetheart."

"For your information, they do know about you." Ally admitted assertively. "I told them about you. I talk to them all the time, I told them how you had cooked me dinner for my birthday. I explained that we had a few complications but I think I love you. They think they like you and they told me to ask if you would mind coming to spend the holidays with us so that they could meet you."

"What the hell babe?" Lauren chuckled. "When did all this happen? You told them about me? That makes me nervous of what you probably said."

"It wasn't all bad, Lauren." The Latina smiled. "They really wanna meet you and I really want you to meet them."

"Babe I just don't know about this." Lauren shrugged unsure. "I-I just don't know."

"Lauren." Ally called firmly. She put her shopping bags in her right hand and used her left hand to make Lauren stop walking. "I love you. You're my soulmate. My parents were to suppose to have met you MONTHS ago but because of what all was going on, they didn't. But now I'm sure you're the one for me and it's about time my parents know who has all my attention and time other than my career."

Lauren stared at Ally and sighed. Ally slowly pulled Lauren by the shirt towards her. "Plus, they need to know the reason their daughter doesn't answer the phone some mornings and nights."

Lauren licked her lips and her hand rested on Ally's waist. "Oh....yeah. I think it is about time they know who's responsible."

Ally slowly nodded with a smirk as they began to walk again. "Yes they do."

Lauren pushes the door open and allows Ally out first.

"Now don't think I'm being selfish." Ally added. "If you had plans to go with your family, then that's okay. By all means, do so."

"Well I really don't know if I'm even going with them." said the Cuban as she took the keys out her pocket. "They plan to go to Germany for Christmas and I don't think I feel like traveling that far during the holidays."

"Well," Ally shrugged as they approach the car. Lauren presses the button on her keys and unlocks the doors. "Then that means that I have you all to myself."

"You sure do."

Along the car ride, Ally frowned as she gazed intensely in her phone.

"Are you aware that Normani tweeted that you two were no longer together?" She asked out of curiosity.

"Yes I know." Lauren nodded while stopping at a red light. "I tweeted about it as well and told everybody that we just decided to part ways because we had interests in other people and that we're better friends that partners."
