"Wait," Sierra breathes out as she comes to a stop. She placed her hands on her knees, "Let's stop for a minute."I chuckle, "Am I running too fast for you?"
"Oh please," She lifted her head to look at me. "Never. I just need to catch my breathe, that's all."
"Mhm, alright then." I playfully rolled her eyes. Basically, yes, I WAS running too fast.
"Since we're finally alone," She places her hands on my hips. "I gotta talk to you about something."
"About what?" she looked at me as she took the hair tie off her wrist and pulled her hair back. She has so much I didn't even know it was possible to fit it in a ponytail.
"Girl," I said dryly as we begin running again. "How long had it been that you and Ally broke up before you told us?"
"I wanna say...about a week and two days." I simply responded.
"Wow!" She scoffed. "The way Ally talked about it was as if it had been a month."
"Well, it felt like a month." I shrugged
"We broke up because..."I started. I hesitated for a few seconds because I was trying to find words that wouldn't make it seem as bad as it was. "I mean.....for months Ally had felt as though I didn't feel the same way about her as I said I did months prior and one day we got in an argument and it spiraled out of control so we broke up.""Well I'm not gonna ask anything else because that is you guys business but I can tell you that Ally is very different from most women these days." She tells me. "She's not the same."
"What do you mean?" I asked. Of course I know Ally isn't like other girls, that's why I'm so attracted to her. But I feel like Sierra meant that on a deeper level than it sounds.
"Ally fights for what she wants. Shes in LOVE with you. The woman can't stop thinking about you. She's thinks the most high of you. Hell she worships the ground you walk on." She explains and I crack a smile. I know Ally really loves me but to hear someone describe how much she loves me besides Ally telling me gives me a different kind of butterflies. "She's not gonna let you go just because you were with Normani."
"What?" I almost gasped. I can't believe she just said that. "H-How did you know that?"
"I told you that Ally's tells me everything!" She laughed. "She won't tell her parents but she told me and I'm not gonna tell her parents either."
I was a little bothered that Ally was telling what had happened between us but as me and Sierra continued to talk, it seemed like Ally only told Sierra a little. She didn't know how we actually met-she seemed to still be buying us meeting on the red carpet.
"Do you plan on marrying my cousin one day? Like do you see the two of you lasting a long time?" She asked me.
"I do," I said sincerely, I immediately started thinking about how it would feel to have Ally as a wife. With the way we argue, you'd think we already were. "I love that woman so much. She brings out this side of me that not a lot of people can get in touch with. She always knows what to say and when to say it. She's so focused on your morals and values and she always make time for me. She pays attention to what I do and like and she listens to me. She's so smart and humble and if I don't marry her one day, someone will. You just can't find women like that these days. I'm lucky because I did. She's one in a million and after meeting her mother and grandmother, I see where she gets it from."
"And you know what?" She grins. "You're not the first significant other she's brought home but you are the first person she's brought home that she's seems so excited about. She has the special sparkle in her eye that I don't think I've seen before. Thank you for making her happy. That's my cousin and I care deeply for her like a sister. If for some reason under the sun that it doesn't work out with you two, promise you'll continue to love her regardless."
