Disclaimer:
The last few chapters were pulled from another book I never published because I lost inspiration for it. So I incorporated a few chapters from that book into this one. So if you see Dinah's name, ignore it. It's suppose to say "Sierra"Thank you!
— Ally —
Knocking wasn't working so I opened the door and everyone ran in and jumped on Lauren's bed, including me, Luna and Sierra. She was groaning and moaning angrily, telling us to leave and to get out but that wasn't going to happen.
"Aunt Pat told us to come wake you up!" Luna said cutely while sitting on top of her.
"I don't wanna." She pouted before pulling the pillow from under her head and placing it on her face. She was aggravated, but today's Christmas so I really don't care.
"But it's Christmas!" Luna said happily.
"God is probably still asleep too." She says sarcastically and I slapped her bare thigh making her whimper and jump up instantly.
"Don't joke about God like that,"I pointed at her motherly. "God never sleeps. Now get up. My parents want you downstairs in 5. All of the family came over early to give and get gifts."
"That's right Ally." Sierra says in agreement as she helped me off the bed. "Tell her."
I smirk at Lauren as Luna takes my hand and guides me out the room behind Sierra, pressuring us to let her open presents.
"I don't like you." Lauren mouthed to me.
"Stop the madness! You're in love with me." I wink at her and she throws a pillow at me but I grab the doorknob and close the door before it hits me.
— Time Passes —
When she arrived downstairs, I smiled at her and she ignored me and walked into the kitchen and I could hear her excitedly say Merry Christmas to my parents and family. Me and Sierra and the my other cousins were sorting out the gifts. The others were in the kitchen getting something to drink.
Eventually, they came out of the kitchen, really because Luna and Zuri wouldn't shut up about wanting to open their presents. I can't really say anything though, I was ecstatic to open mine. I couldn't stop staring at the ones that had my name!
When everybody had their gifts in their area, my mother counted down from five and we started snatching wrapping paper. I read the stickers and said thank you to whoever's name the sticker said it was from.
"Ally!!" Lauren cried and she held the box up. "You bought me a lava light! It's so cool. Thank you, babe!"
That moment was so awkward but I ignored the uncomfortable silence and smiled. "You're welcome! I figured you needed something to put on the little table in your living room."
"Thank you so much!" She said gratefully. "It's so pretty. You can turn that on and it turns the room a nice blue color."
"Damn I like this!" She said happily while reading the back of the box and Gordon slapped her arm, "Watch ya mouth."
We all opened our presents eventually and I was really thankful, Lauren and Sierra caught it all on there phones, recording me. My phone was charging and upstairs so, I didn't of course. Everybody was thankful and happy, though. We were all great gift givers if so say so myself.
