Part 7 Nightmares - Zephyr POV

My eyes flutter open to the sight of a starry sky out my window. Puffy white clouds float by as a gentle breeze pushes them along. The crickets on the island chirp in unison. My soft covers still tucked up around my chin keep me warm and my little Toothless lays next to my head. I smile as I stare at his broad face. I am suddenly feeling a warm happiness inside. But before too long that feeling turns cold as I remember what is happening tomorrow. I hug my Toothless tight and snuggle my face into his plushy softness as at the same time he dries my tears.
