Chapter 15

Luke asked me out yesterday. So today is the day, today is the day I'm going to tell him I like him. I mean there is no better time to tell him than on a date, our first date. But first, I need help, which involves me explaining a lot.

To : Marley

Heyy, could you come over? xx

From : Marley

Yeah sure, be over in ten:) xx

Before Marley got here, I needed to prepare what I was gonna say because she thinks I like Calum but I never really did and I don't know how she'll react to me liking Luke so I'll have to try an keep calm.

Then, within seconds, Marley was here.

"heyy" she's always so chirpy

"hey" I'm not as chirpy, not at the moment anyway

"you okay? I'm guessing there's a particular reason why you called me over so soon"

"yeah there is, I kind of need to tell you something" she'll think it's about me and Calum, when it is in a way but not a good way

"ooo is it you an Calum? Are you together?! Please be together because then you can double date with me and Michael!" I knew it, I knew she was seeing Michael

"okay one, calm down" she started laughing "two, me and Calum are not together and will probably never be together and three, since when were you and Michael a couple?!"

"we've been going out for about a week but, enough about me and Michael, what's wrong with you an Calum?" I thought I dodged the bullet

"nothing's wrong with me and Calum, it's just that I kind of like someone else so we're just going to be friends" that's almost the truth, I mean I do want to be friends with him, after all he isn't bad company

"but you guys went out, like on a date an everything!"

"I know we did, but it took me going out with Calum for me to realise that I like someone else" she looks pretty confused, I would be too, I am.

"does Calum know that you like someone else or have you not told him yet?" now she just seems angry but I don't know why?

"yeah Calum knows, he came round last night an I told him, he was a bit upset about it but," Luke turned up so he started arguing with him and then they had a fight in my front garden "I think he's okay" she doesn't need to know that yet

"okay, so tell me, who's this other guy that you yet to mention"

I took a deep breath because I don't know how this is going to go

"the guy is the Luke" her jaw completely dropped to the floor

"Luke as in Luke Hemmings"

"yeah, Luke as in Luke Hemmings"

"but I thought he liked April, I thought he was with April?" now here come the 20 questions

"so did I but apparently not and just so you know, I liked him before April an I know that's going to sound all lame and sappy but it's true, the night I was going to April she came over to mine and said she had news herself, expect I didn't know it was the same news as mine so I never told her or you" I don't think Marley has ever been this quiet before?

"so you like Luke?"

"yes, I like Luke"
