"so you and Luke are like a thing now?"

"I don't think so, I mean, he's asked me out so we technically have our first date tonight but I wouldn't say we were a thing" I'm expecting more questions to come, I just don't know how to answer them

"but you want it to be a thing don't you?" she's giving me the smirk that she does when she knows she's right and she is

"yes, I want us to be 'thing' " I hate that word 'thing' it's so cliche and cheesy, why can't people just be normal and say 'couple'.

"ha I knew it" she sighed and opened her mouth as if she were to say something else, then she asked the question I hoped she weren't going to "so, are you going to April?"

"I don't know, she'll probably hate me if I tell her and hate me if I don't, she'll say I only liked him because she did, you know what she's like" April won't take this lightly, she'll have to make a big deal about it, causing a big drama making up the excuse that I was just jealous of her, wanting something that I can't have

"I know April can be funny about this kind of stuff but you should tell her, you should tell her before Luke does because if Luke tells her first, she will probably hate you" I hate it when she's right and lately, it's been a lot

"okay, I'll tell her, when should I tell her? Now?"

"well, when's your date with Luke?" crap, I have to be ready in two hours, I better tell April soon

"two hours" I almost whispered, hoping she wouldn't hear me because I know she'll freak out

"TWO HOURS! LEXIE WHAT THE HELL?" I knew it

"I'm sorry, I thought I had longer" I honestly did. She huffed and puffed before she spoke again,

"okay here's what you're gonna do, you're gonna text April to come over within the next half hour, then you're gonna jump in the shower, do you know where he's taking you?" I shook my head, it's better not to speak when she's like this "okay so I will do your hair casual, classy but casual, I'll pick something out for you to wear whilst your in the shower to save some time and then you're gonna tell April, you're going to tell her everything"

Alls I could do was nod my head because I knew she was right, I had to tell April everything.
