Chapter 21

Last night is still a blur to me, my date with Luke went from perfect to a disaster is less than an hour but it got perfect again, that's all that matters. Luke wanted to reschedule our date but I said not to worry about it because, apart from April, I actually really enjoyed it, but he insisted that he take me out again so, we're going out again on Friday but he said he isn't going to take me into town, he wants to take me somewhere different?
I haven't spoke to Calum since he argued with Luke in front of me, I should text him and see how he is,

Hey, I haven't seen you in a while, are you okay? xx

yeah I'm fine, just keeping distance that's all

it's too difficult to explain through text Lex

well come over and explain it to me

He hasn't answered me back so I'm phoning him and it takes the second ring for him to answer.
"Lex why are you ringing me?" he sounds annoyed with me? "to tell you to come over and explain why your keeping your distance?" I can hear him sighing, "Lex, it's not that simple, I can't just come over just let it go okay?" what is wrong with him? "fine, if you won't come to me I'll come to you" almost insistently he says " no don't come over, please, I'll be over as soon as I can but Lex please don't tell anyone, especially Luke" and with that he hung up, leaving me wandering why I shouldn't Luke? Did something happen between them that I don't know about?
