Happiness?

Shao Fei walked into his favorite foodie destination to be met with Zhao Zi's happy dance as he saw his best friend.

"A'FEI!!!"

"ZHAO ZI!!!!" They both hugged each other since they haven't seen each other in a few weeks before walking into the restaurant like two drunken idiots. "I miss this food." Shao Fei moaned looking at the big assortment in front of him. Everything spicy and at least three cokes each.

"Ready. . .set. . .GO!" And they both started to stuff their faces. Tang Yi had shoved Shao Fei out of their house to go play with Zhao Zi as he needed to finish some business. He wouldn't say what, but Shao Fei didn't mind much. This was a good excuse to go and eat some good food and also to get ingredients so they could cook together tonight.

"So, how are you and Tang Yi working with the baby?"

"We have a midwife that should be coming next week to tell us everything that we need to know and then ultrasound."

"Aw, that's so cute A'Fei! I don't think I'd be able to handle having a child anytime soon." They both laughed knowing it was true. "Honestly I'm surprised that I'm not pregnant though since Jack likes to either feed me or feed him." Zhao Zi said casually. Shao Fei almost choked on his meat as he heard the sweet, innocent, Zhao Zi talk like that.

"Jack has corrupted you." Zhao Zi shrugged agreeing and went back to eating.

"Oh yeah, is he okay with everything that's been going on? He does know about your past right?"

"What do you mean?"

"The reason why you can get pregnant and why you haven't told your parents?" Shao Fei paled at this and shook his head trying to stuff more food in his mouth. "You need to get there sooner or later A'Fei. There is only a small percentage of males that can do this and he needs to know that you're a different and more sensitive case than the rest of us."

"I'm fine Zhao Zi. I will tell him when I'm ready."

"But what if he's not ready." Shao Fei's face fell into one of panic as he tried to go through the scenarios. "Please do this for you and for him." Zhao Zi placed a hand over Shao Fei's shaking one trying to comfort him.

"Stop trying to do this Zhao Zi! I know how to work this out with Tang Yi!" Shao Fei left and paid quickly leaving to the grocery store. 'I will tell him when I get home today.' Shao Fei had a look of panic remembering why he hid everything for so long.

He quickly went inside a grocery store getting everything for omelette rice hoping to have a nice talk over dinner. That's when he saw a couple. The man was so comforting towards his pregnant wife. A tear fell over his cheek as every emotion came out like a rain cloud. He wanted something that sweet after Tang Yi was done with Xing Tian Meng. 'Why did I have to be so different?'

"This fight of my life is so hard." He mumbled placing a hand over his small bump. The memories came back as he remembered his father leaving, his hero gone, his mother saying it wasn't his fault. He knew it always was. His son turned out to have the XX gene that changed some men in Taipei into carriers. The thoughts piled up. His mother's death, leaving his house, his childhood gone. The healing, senior Li Chen, his friends, and finally Tang Yi with open arms. He wiped his tears knowing stress wasn't good and went to pay and headed out to their house.

Shao Fei walked into his house looking around for Tang Yi. "Tang Yi? Tang?!" No answer, nothing. Shao Fei pouted and placed the groceries down on the counter looking around the grounds for any sign of movement.

Shao Fei knew to come to terms with everything and tell Tang Yi everything. He hoped up the stairs seeing a light on in Tang Yi's office. He smiled and opened the door with a big smile.
