Shao Fei looked ready to kill anybody who didn't do what he said. He was somehow surrounded by fire in everyone's eyes. Even Zhao Zi was afraid to go near his best friend.
Most everyone was running around like headless chickens waiting for the results from the lab. When Dao Yi and Hong Ye left everyone knew they were ultimately screwed if they didn't find answers.
"Do we have anything yet?" Shao Fei had his head buried in different pieces from the case surrounding him. He kept a comforting hand on his stomach in hopes that Tang Yi will be here to help him.
"Nothing yet, A'Fei. Please just take a minute and wait until we have some answers."
"Would you be waiting and sitting around if you and Jack were in the same predicament?" He asked without even looking at Zhao Zi. Zhao Zi felt a very hard shiver up his spine and sighed before running out in search of a way to stop everyone from going insane.
"No I would not be waiting, Shao Fei, but I would not be a tyrant trying to kill everyone here with a death glare."
"Awe! You wouldn't be doing that for me?" Jack wrapped an arm around Zhao Zi's waist and held him close. "Because we all know I would do that for you in a heartbeat." Zhao Zi smiled at the look in Jack's eyes. It showed full determination.
"And thanks for being my knight." Zhao Zi flushed a bright red as he realized their still in a public place, aka his job, so he ran to his computer to look at a few things. Jack chuckled on his way back swinging his knife. How he got that through security baffles everyone.
"Zhao Zi!" Someone whined. "When will we get a break?" He whispered.
"When that man I call my friend gets his lover back. Now work, please." They all sighed and went back to work.
Then, like a miracle a door slammed open to reveal. . .
It was only Hong Ye. Everyone's heads went back down to their computers in sadness.
"Where's Shao Fei?" Zhao Zi pointed towards the main office and warned her. She took no mind to it and left to the main office.
"Stop working your men like some kind of crazy tyrant, Shao Fei!"
"Hong Ye, I do not need this right now."
"What if I told you we found Tang Yi?" Shao Fei's eyes bugged and he looked at the female in front of him. Her eyes showed no need for this pause.
"How?"
"Well, technically we've found him. Physically is a different story."
"Where is he Hong Ye?!"
"He's stuck in a lot of shit with our father's friend."
"Do you mean this man?" Shao Fei replayed the recording to Hong Ye and she nodded solemnly.
"He's not a good man, Shao Fei. He's where we go if there's no where else."
"Why?"
"Because joining up with him means we have to do his dirty work. The way we found him was a line of homicides."
"WHAT?"
"Please calm down Shao Fei." Shao Fei felt a sharp kick to his abdomen and decided to oblige with his very scary, soon to be, sister-in-law. "We've tracked most of them to the same type of kill. He isn't alone."
"How will we find him?"
"If you want to find him, you need to go find Masuyama's right hand side. That man is someone who is not easily swayed though. Be careful."
"I can't go. Even when I want to, those two will not let me leave their sight."
"Well, you are pregnant. I don't blame them."
"Thanks Hong Ye. I'll just send that annoying Cheshire Cat into this with you I guess."
"We all know that they won't talk to us."
"Well, what can I do? Wait for Tang Yi to come home? Wait for this child to be born?"
"I want to say yes, but no. We can get you there with a crap ton of protection."
"I don't know if this will help or not, Hong Ye. This child is the only thing that makes me want to keep searching. I'm not going to put them in danger."
"He will only talk to you face to face." She muttered with full hatred. Zhao Zi thought it would be a good time to walk in with some good news for once.
"Well, um. . .how would you feel if I told you that Tang Yi is getting closer to Taiwan?"
"HOW DO YOU KNOW?!" Shao Fei yelled walking around his desk and glaring down at Zhao Zi.
"Calm down Shao Shao." Jack walked in with a big smirk on his face. "He's coming here because he has a new mission. Take you out." He pointed the sharp end of his butterfly blade at Shao Fei, his eyes slowly changing from charismatic to serious in .002 seconds.
"Well, I believe this can give us motive to sneak you in or something." Hong Ye said with urgency. "If we don't get you some security, he will make his move. Tang Yi isn't an easy opponent."
"I know that. I remember." Shao Fei's eyes clouded over for a few as he remembered their many encounters back in the day. He chuckled and hugged Zhao Zi to the best of his abilities before running *cough cough* speed walking to the main office.
"Where the hell does he think he's going?!"
"Encounter the enemy head first." Zhao Zi sighed and dropped his head knowing Shao Fei wasn't going to stop for a while.
"Should we be worried about this?" Hong Ye asked looking out the swinging door.
"Very much so." Zhao Zi sighed and ran out the door after him. "SHAO FEI WE CAN'T GO IN THEIR HEAD FIRST YET!!!" Jack laughed at the antics going around and decided to follow the duo.
"I will never have a sane brother at this rate." She hung her head and walked out to find Shao Fei trying to get out of the building.
Tang Yi felt something in him break as he stared at the darkened room.
"WAIT IS THIS WHAT I HAVE TO DO?!" He yelled as the door behind him closed and locked shut. "This can't be right. Let me out of here!" There was sloshing around. The water was cold and it didn't feel right. It felt thicker, but the lighting was so low that he couldn't tell.
"Did you really think this was going to be easy for you?" Tang Yi looked up and saw no one in the vast darkness. "There's only one way out of here, and that means doing everything that they say." Tang Yi collapsed near a wall, but that didn't last long.
"Get up Tang Guo! I mean Tang Yi." That voice could never be mistaken. Everything went downhill quickly when his brain registered.
"Masuyama?!"
"Hello Little Tang." A light turned on and the place looked horrific. There was blood everywhere and bodies strewn in different directions. One man sat hunched over looking crazed. "If you don't want to end up like them, then I suggest you do exactly what I say."
Masuyama got closer and closer to Tang Yi's ear smirking as he knew he finally had the Tang world in his grasp.
Tang Yi let Masuyama pull him around in the dark room towards a room full of guns and suits.
"Time for you to finish what that old man started." He shoved Tang Yi into the dark room and left him with only one note. 'Good luck'
"That bastard." Tang Yi picked up a 45 and holstered it before taking a few clips and some blades to hide in his suit, which was somehow still in good shape. He didn't have much time to think, because Tang Yi felt the room drop.
