Part 24
Kelsey's POV
Okay Kelsey todays the day you tell him how you feel. Nothing can get in your way. Just pick up the phone and call him. I reach for the phone but couldn't get the strength to grab it and call. Ugh is this how guys feel all the time with this stuff because it's awful. I take a deep breath grab the phone and call. "Hey Liam can you tell Zayn to come over thanks bye" "Kels-" I hung up on him Okay one step in the right direction I hear a knock on the door "Hey is everything alright?" I nod closing the door behind him "Zayn um..." "You don't like me do you? God I'm such a fool. I knew I shouldn't-" I kissed him, shutting him up I savored the perfect moment before pulling back He stared blankly at me "I like you Zayn" his face beamed as we started kissing again
*Weeks later*
"Happy 1 month" Zayn says giving me a gift "Aww Zayn you didn't have to" "Oh but I did" I kissed him and my jaw dropped at the sight of the gift "Zayn..." "It's not an engagement ring" I could breathe again "Then what is it?" "A promise ring: a promise to be mine forever and always." "Sounds a little like an engagement ring." I laugh "But I'd love to be yours" he puts the ring on my finger "I love you Kelsey" I look at him shocked "I love you too Zayn" and for the first time in months I actually did love someone again. Minutes later we decided to cuddle and watch a movie. Halfway through Zayn speaks up "Kels" "Hmh?" "How did your Mum die?" I hesitate "A house fire when I was 10. My Dad and I barely made it out alive and since then I didn't think I could be happy, but with you and the rest of the gang, I find myself way happier than I've ever been since she passed. Thank you" I start crying on Zayn's shoulder as he rubs my back calming me down
