Detention. We are in detention. I cannot believe I am in detention. I sigh and start doodling in my notebook. "Hey." Kacchan whispers to me. I look to my left and meet his gaze. "What?" "Hey, I didn't ask for the attitude. I was trying to tell you, I had a good time. A few hours in detention is nothing for looking at stupid water with you." I feel my face turn warm and he turns away from me, cheeks also turning pink.
I smile to myself and look back at my drawing. I can almost never think about what to draw but.. his face is all I've been thinking about lately so that's all I've been drawing. His eyes.. his nose.. his mouth.. it's so hard not to stare at his face- "what are you drawing?" Kacchan leans in and I quickly cover it up with my arms. "NO! I'm uhm.. it's just a.. you know.. and a.. yeah...." he looks at me puzzled and leans back into his seat. "Keep your secrets then." He says kicking his feet up and leaning back into his chair, putting his hands behind his head. "By the way, my eyes aren't that big. Idiot." My face flushes and it feels like air bursts from my ears. "It's.. who said!! I'm not.. ughh" I say putting my head down. "I didn't say it's bad. You're a good drawer for how simple minded you can be sometimes." I look over and he's smirking at me. "You don't need intelligence to draw. Give it a try, I'm sure you'd be just as good." "HEY! You calling me an idiot?!" "I'm not calling you anything different than what you called me." I say turning my head away from him.
I look back over and he's pouting. I turn away and- Wait? Pouting? I look back at him and he's actually pouting.. how can someone be so cute yet so scary.

*hour and a half goes by*
"CHILDREN" All Might comes bursting into the room scaring Kacchan and I. "You may now leave this room where you were held." I try not to giggle as I pack up my stuff and start standing. Kacchan starts doing the same and we walk out together. "What a waste of time." He says as he shoves his hands in his pockets. "I'd rather be there than fighting you." I say as we turn a corner. "Yeah. Whatever. I guess. I'm going to my room. Come with me." "Oh.. I actually have to go uh to the-" "I know you don't have plans." "Right." I say following him to the dorms.
We get into the elevator and he clicks the button to go to our floor. "Why are you so nervous? It's annoying." He said, eyes not leaving the elevator doors. "I'm not nervous." I say as I rub the back of my neck and laugh a little bit. He looks at me "I know you are. I can feel it radiating off of you." "Oh" I say looking away from him and to the ground. The elevator rings and the doors open. He takes my hand and leads me to his room, closing his door and leading me to the bed, sitting us both down. He looks at me for a little bit but doesn't say anything. Is he annoyed with me?
"What I was trying to say at the cliffs is stupid. I shouldn't have thought to say it. It's a waste of my time and it was in the heat of the moment." He said leaning back. "Oh, I mean.. you didn't really say anything to be fair.." "but you knew what I was getting at." "Actually I don't." "I'm not going to say it. Not my fault you're an idiot." He says rolling his eyes and looking away from me. "What? You won't say that you like me?" "I NEVER SAID-" He was interrupted by a knock on the door. He rolls his eyes again and gets up "this conversation isn't over."
He opens the door and a very red and flustered Izuku is standing on the other side. "Oh um hi I was well.. I was wondering if y/n was with you? All Might said-" "why do you care." Geez I can feel the ice in his voice.. "Well I was going to ask if she wanted to get lunch with me. She's been in detention so I just figu-" "She's busy." Kacchan cuts him off as he slams the door. "Stupid Deku." He walks back over to the bed and takes a seat but I get up as soon as he does. "Where are you going?" "To get lunch. Izuku is right, I haven't eaten." "So you're going to get lunch with that idiot?!" He stands up. "I never said I was getting lunch with him, I'm hungry." I say and head towards the door. I can hear his foot steps walking behind me and I turn around and his face is pink and he's not looking at me. "What are you doing?" I ask. "I'm getting lunch too. Not with you. We just happen to go at the same time. Don't get the wrong idea stupid." I giggle as I open the door and we head towards the cafeteria together.
It was quiet all the way to the cafeteria, Kacchan would look at me every once in a while, I could see out of my peripheral view, but he wasn't making conversation. We finally reach the kitchen and there's a few groups of people sitting at tables. We grab out food and go to sit but Kacchan grabs my elbow and brings me to stairs that lead to the roof. We walk up them and he brings me to a part of the roof where you can see the city. "You keep bringing me to pretty places yet claim you don't like me." I say and look over to him. He takes a bite of his burger and looks up at the view. "I never said I liked you." He looks over to me for a second then focuses back on his burger. "You implied it." "So what if I did" "Then admit it" "it won't change a single thing." "It could" "What are you saying." He looks over at me and my face flushes. "I was just saying.. I.." I look down at my food I have touched yet and pick up a chicken tender and take a bite. "Come to my room tonight." He gets up and walks towards the door, throwing his plate away and going back downstairs.
