Hey guys, glad you're enjoying the story. I wasn't too sure if it was good but I guess I was wrong... Its my Bday today, lol. Im 14, dunno why I just said that but, yeah, its my bday. I know I've said this before but check out my youtube channel (link in bio), I need more subscribers lol. I'll try and update this frequently

Anyway, PEACE OUT!

"Don't mention it." I smiled, squinting a little because of my arm. Nick must've sensed this. His eyes were fixed on my arm.

"How's that doing?"

"Fine, I guess, it's healing, so it's the best it's gonna get for now..."

Nick smiled but his eyes frowned. "I'm - I'm sorry about Carver."

"It's not your fault," I reassured him. "You couldn't have known..."

Nick sighed a bit, causing me to frown.

"You're too nice Ash. God knows we don't deserve your forgiveness. Why did we bring you into our messed up lives? I mean, what have you done to deserve... This..." Nick's eyes were again fixated on my arm, which only caused me to frown even more.

"Nick, stop blaming yourself, it ain't your fault. We've all made mistakes - trust me..."

'Yeah, i guess."

It was a pretty awkard walk back to form if you ask me. Nick didn't say much, but every now and then he'd glance at me, before quickly turning away and rubbing his neck. I actually found it kind of adorable, and it just made me smile even more, which made Nick rub his neck even harder, which made me smile even more... Ahhh i could just go on...

Luke was already waiting outside our form for us. He does business studies which has many advantages one being that the business classrooms are closer to form as well as the cafeteria, (which usually means that Luke saves us our usual table, and occasionally get the first-come-first-serve goodies) meaning he dosen't have to run (and I mean at full speed) to avoid eating rabbit food or 'mystery meat' as he calls it. Anyway, this advantage resulted in him giving us the infamous smirk, which tended to get under both of our skins. Only this time, his smirk faded awfully quickly. In facts his attention seemed to be focused on... Oh c'mon, really?

"That's gonna form a nice scar. Trust me, they're way better than tatoos." I actually wouldn't mind having a tattoo. I've always considered it but I know my dad would never let me do it - he's afraid of commitment.

Luke's warm smile faded a bit and I followed his eyes where he was staring at... my arm? (the other one...)

"Ur, did i something?" He asked us, but to me in particular.

"No," I replied, shrugging a bit.

Luke raised his eyebrow in a way to say 'really?' "Then why are you two holding hands?"

Wait what? Nick and I instantly let go of each other, both of us, turning bright red. Luke just used this as another advantage and began to laugh softly. He has a really nice laugh, it was usually just a small chuckle, nothing major, but it made me smile. Like always...

"Anyway, I'm happy you're feeling better, Nick."

Nick, slightly startled by this statement, just nodded before saying, "Yeah, me too." He then rubbed the back of his neck again, before slowly trudging into the classroom, his head looking down at the floor.

"Thanks for keeping an eye on him," I heard Luke say. Or at least that's what i thought he said. I was in my own world full of bright blue eyes and warm laughs... and ahhh.
