Life is like a mystery box. We are birthed, we are given things, we are told how to act, we are told what to believe, we are conditioned by the rules of society. But it's a mystery as to which society we will be birthed into.

Naruto couldn't help but feel he was in the wrong one.

He can't help but feel like he was cursed into this town, this society. He was trained to drive a car, tractor, manual, all at five and six. He knows how to hay fields and milk cattle. He's seen a dozen cows give birth and a dozen cows killed. He's lived a FarmVille life and he hates it.

The first day Naruto felt different was third grade. Internet wasn't a big thing yet but everyone was making friends and connections. They were riding over to each other's houses, having sleepovers and being normal kids. All of them, but himself.

He was having trouble. he couldn't make friends, he couldn't answer questions. He wasn't like the others in any way and only one person understood what he was going through. If only a little, she still made a effort, his mother.

Naruto looked at the vending machine that needed to be refilled. He wasn't hungry but no one comes over to the vending machine when it's taco day.

Naruto sat on the floor he opened his notebook and stared at the math problem. He hated this school, they did things under the table, they did their own lessons and expect you to pass the tests at the end. How can he pass the test if he has no idea how to do it!

There was nothing here.

"Hey" Naruto looked up to see Sasuke standing over him. Naruto smiled as best as he could.

"Hi!" He said cheerfully. He wasn't truly sad or depressed. He just wanted a life he couldn't have yet. Waiting will make everything so much better when he gets that life.

"Why aren't you with your friends?" Sasuke asked as he sat down next to the blonde and looked at Narutos math homework.

"I have no friends. Also they want to beat you up. Also I don't understand this. Also I just want to go home and sleep!" Naruto crossed his arms and pouted like a child. There was so much he wanted to do, but right now he just wanted to sleep.

Sasuke sat next to him not sure what to say. "You seem like the type to complain a lot."

Naruto shrugged his shoulders "I don't see a problem with complaining, I feel better after doing it."

"It's annoying to listen to."

"I think you're right. I also don't care."

Naruto smiled when Sasuke smirked. Sasuke was a mystery. But he's friendly.

"Ya know Sasuke, I think you're going to help me"

Sasuke shrugged his shoulders, he said nothing but he couldn't help but feel the same. There was something drawing him to Naruto. Like an invisible line, he was following it.

"Do you want help?" Sasuke asked looking at the problem. He has the same homework, they could both do it together.

Naruto nodddd his head. "You know my friends are looking for you."

"I thought you had no friends."

Naruto stared at Sasuke for a moment his porcelain skin went too well with his dark eyes. He was like a perfect doll. Too beautiful to be a boy yet too masculine to be a women. He looked like a movie star, someone famous you dream of meeting but know you never will.

"I suppose that would be true.. if I didn't meet you... or maybe." Naruto smiled softly his cheeks were sprinkled with a subtle red. He was flirting.
