Jake's p.o.v:
"Guys, I'm home." I shouted when I arrived in my house.
Smells good..
I followed the smell to the kitchen and found my siblings surrounded in a sorrowful aura. My mother was suddenly crying.
"Mom, what's happening? Why is everybody so down today?.."
"Dad" Chris started.
"What about dad?" I asked worriedly.
"Dad's..... gone.." Alice's voice started to disappear when she said the word 'gone'.
I dropped my bag down on the floor, not believing what Alice just said.
"Guys, please don't joke with me."
I said in a serious tone.
Alice shook her head and said "I'm sorry but... we're not."
I looked at the ground. Everything was blurry, probably because I was gonna cry. But instead, I fainted.
