Chapter 24: Bold Part 2!

      Zane slowly walked out of the cave, following his mom. They walked up to another Dragon. "Tracy." Mandy greeted and Tracy smiled at her. "Mandy, good to see you again." Tracy commented. "You look as beautiful as ever." Mandy commented. Zane sighed and rolled his eyes. "So do you, ma'am." Tracy told her and Mandy smiled. "You are so ever sweet." Mandy commented. "I am just being honest, Mandy. Honesty is everything to me." Tracy told her. "Tracy, this is my son. Zane, this is Tracy Reynolds." Mandy introduced. "You look dashing, Zane." Tracy told him. Mandy glared at him to say something. "You look nice too." Zane told her and she gave him a small smile. "Thank you." Tracy commented. "I am sure you two have a lot to talk about." Mandy commented. She walked away and Zane sighed as he looked down. "Who is she?" Tracy asked. Zane looked up and locked eyes with her. "I do not know what you talking about." Zane replied. "I am not stupid, Zane. I can tell you fo not like being set up. It is all over your face. Your face is also saying that you are already in love." Tracy explained and Zane smiled. "I guess I am more obvious then I thought." Zane commented. "Not to your mother." Tracy told him with a smirk and he laughed. "I guess not." Zane agreed. "Who is she?" Tracy asked. "It is.... Complicated." Zane replied. "I get that." Tracy agreed. There was a moment of silence and Tracy grinned. Zane pushed his eyebrows  together. "What?" Zane asked.
      Maybelle walked up to her parents. "About time." Roman commented. "You wanted to see me, father?" Maybelle asked and Roman nodded. "This is about the upcoming wedding." Roman replied as Anastasia walked up to them. "There will be no wedding." Maybelle told him. "Maybelle!" Anastasia exclaimed. "I am sorry, mother. But I cannot pretend to be okay anymore, because I am not." Maybelle told them. "You will marry Jake, and that is the end of it." Roman told her. Maybelle felt her eyes water again. "I want to follow my heart. Do you not want me to be happy?" Maybelle asked. "Royals do not get the luxury of following hearts or being happy." Roman replied. "I have tried reasoning with you and being understanding, but I cannot anymore. You must marry for the good of all Pegasus. You will marry Jake and immediately give birth to an heir. You will rule this Kingdom and be a fine Queen." Anastasia explained. She walked away and Roman followed as Maybelle laid down.
       Zane starred at Tracy in confusion. "What?" Zane asked. "I have a secret, Zane. I am in love too." Tracy replied. "That is great, Tracy." Zane commented. "But my father does not approve. I have an idea." Tracy told him. "I am intrigued." Zane told her. "We walk around, pretend to be together. But it will be a cover, so that we can be with our true loves." Tracy suggested. "That is a good plan, Tracy. But things are about to change." Zane told her and she looked at him, confused. "What ever do you mean?" Tracy asked. "My girlfriend and I are planning a bold move tomorrow. I cannot tell you much, for your own protection. But perhaps things will work out with you and your boyfriend." Zane told her. "Will this work?" Tracy asked. "Not right away, but eventually. I will not give up, and neither will my girl." Zane told her and she nodded.
     Maybelle walked up to Jake. "So, when is the wedding?" Jake asked with a smirk and Maybelle glared at him. "I do not like you, and I do not want to marry you." Maybelle replied. "You do not have to like me, but you do have to marry me." Jake told her. "Times are changing, only a few of us know that.... For now." Maybelle told him and he pushed his eyebrows together. "What are you saying, princess?" Jake asked. "That the wedding may not happen, because something is happening. Something big. Bigger then you, bigger then me, bigger then all of us." Maybelle replied. "You are not making any sense, princess." Jake told her. "Will you stop calling me that?" Maybelle asked and Jake shook her head. "No." Jake replied and Maybelle sighed. "Look, Jake. I know I am not making any sense to you as of now, buy it will all come together soon. I assure you." Maybelle told her. There was a moment of silence and she walked past him.
     Maybelle stood by the river. Evelyn walked over to her. "Luna is getting Isabella." Evelyn told her. "No one can know the three of you have a part to this, not until the timing is right." Maybelle told her and Evelyn nodded. "I understand, we can get into a lot of trouble." Evelyn agreed. They noticed the bush below the hill begin to move. "He's here." Maybelle told her. "What do you want us to do?" Evelyn asked. There was a moment of silence. "Go to the center of the mountains, and act surprised when we get there. I don't want you guys to be blamed for what's going on." Maybelle told her and Evelyn nodded. "Alright." Evelyn agreed. Evelyn walked away and Maybelle transformed into her human form. She made it across the lake and walked down the hill. She saw Zane hiding behind the bush and smiled at him as she sat down next to him. "I'm glad you're here." Maybelle told him. "Me too." Zane agreed. "But?" Maybelle asked and Zane sighed. "I am nervous." Zane replied. "It is dangerous to be around me, Zane." Maybelle told him. "Why do you say that?" Zane asked. Maybelle's eyes filled with tears as she put her head down. "I am the princess. My father is not a nice Pegasus. If we do this.... It could put you in danger, and I do not want anything to happen to you." Maybelle replied. Zane put his hand ontop of her's and she looked up, locking eyes with him. "I want to do this. Our adventure, remember?" Zane asked with a smile and Maybelle smiled back as she nodded. "I remember." Maybelle replied. "I have faith in you." Zane told her. He leaned in and kissed her gently. Maybelle stood up and so did Zane. Then they walked up the mountains. The two of them walked across the Mountains as they held hands. Everyone stopped and starred at them. They watched theor future Queen holding hands with a man nome of them knew. They stopped walking omce they hit the center and they locked eyes. Zane squeezed Maybelle's hand and nodded. Maybelle transformed back into a Pegasus and Zane turned back into a Dragon as everyone gasped.
