Zane has been up for a little while, just watching Maybelle sleep. Maybelle opened her eyes in the morning and looked at Zane. "Were you watching me?" Maybelle asked. "Maybe." Zane replied and she laughed as she sat up. "How did you sleep?" Maybelle asked. "Great, and you?" Zane asked. "About the same." Maybelle replied. "I still do not want to go home, what happened yesterday was so bad and I cannot stand this anymore." Maybelle told him. "I know how you feel." Zane agreed. "I am so happy that I met someone who understands me." Maybelle commented. "Believe me, so am I." Zane agreed and she laughed. There was a moment of silence and she sighed. "What now?" Maybelle asked. "I teach you how to cook." Zane replied. "Is that so?" Maybelle asked. "It is." Zane replied. "Okay." Maybelle agreed. He stood up and held out his hand. She took it and helped her up. "First, we need to get firewood. I will show you." Zane told her and she nodded. "After you." Maybelle agreed.
They walked around the forest as they grabbed several pieces of wood they found laying around. He looked at the stack he had and the stack she had. "This will be enough." Zane told her. They walked back to their campsite and laid the wood down in a pile. "There you go." Maybelle commented. "Do you think you can pick a few fish? Or do you need me to teach you?" Zane asked. "I think I can do it." Maybelle replied. "You go do that, and I will start the fire." Zane told her and she nodded. "Alright." Maybelle agreed and she walked away. Zane turned toward the wood. Dragons normally breathe fire, but in their human form they shoot it out of their hands. It's similar with Pegasus. They breathe ice, but in their human form they shoot it out of their hands. Zane looked at the pile of the wood and held his hand out. His hand glew orangeish- redish and fire came out and the fire started burning the wood.
Maybelle made it back to the ocean. She knelt down and put her hand in the water as her hand glew light blue as a small area in the water turned into a ice. Maybelle smiled as she stood up and dived into the ocean. She was holding her breathe as she swam under the surface. She grabbed two good zized fish and swam back up, popping her head out of water gasping for air. She got out and laid them both down as they flopped around. She shot them both with their ice powers as they froze in a couple blocks of ice. She waited a moment and broke the ice, shattering them. The fish were now dead, they had frozen to death. She grabbed the dead fish and walked back to Zane as she was dripping wet. "Nice catch." Zane commented and she laughed. "Nice fire." Maybelle commented. Zane grabbed a large stick and handed it to her. "Push both fish through the stick." Zane told her and she did just that. "Interesting." Maybelle commented. "Lay it on top of the fire and it will slowly cook." Zane told her and she did. "Now we just wait?" Maybelle asked. "Exactly." Zane replied. "Fun." Maybelle commented. "Do you want to talk while we wait?" Zane asked. "Sounds delightful." Maybelle replied. They both sat down and waited.
The fish were done cooking and they were enjoying their breakfast. "Wbat do you think?" Zane asked. "There is some delight knowing I am eating what I cooked rather then what someone else cooked." Maybelle replied. "Better, is it not?" Zane asked with a smirk and she laughed. "Much." Maybelle replied. It didn't take them long to finish their breakfast fish. They both relaxed in one another's company. "What now?" Zane asked and she sighed. "I do not know, Zane. My head is telling me to return home, but my heart is telling me to stay here with you." Maybelle replied. "I am finding myself in the same dilemma." Zane told her. "I am at a conflict. Between my head or my heart." Maybelle commented. "Story of my life." Zane agreed. "I just wish I did not have a place to be, and I can go where I want." Maybelle told him and he sighed. "Me too, Maybelle. Me too." Zane agreed.
Maybelle and Zane took a walk in the village. "This place is so modern, not like the place I am from." Zane commented. "Same here." Maybelle agreed. "This village is rather fascinating." Zane commented. "Maybe we could explore it a little more." Maybelle suggested and he grinned. "That is a grand idea." Zane agreed. They talked and laughed as they went from one edge of the village to the other. They spent the entire day exploring every little detail about the village. They both examined the humans as well, to see their traits, but only in their heads. Neither one of them wanted the other one to know that they aren't human. They explored every everything and took mental notes as they talked about it. They laughed and told each other more about their lives, not going too much into detail. They both have a lot in common, most of all being lonely and not feeling like they have a place in the world. It was getting late, so they made it back to their campsite.
They sat down as they watched the sunset. "Such a beautiful view." Maybelle commented. Zane smiled as he looked at her. "Very beautiful indeed." Zane agreed. She locked eyes with him and had on a shy smile. "I hate to ruin this moment, but tomorrow it would be best if I go home. Two days will cause my parents to start a riot." Maybelle told him and he sighed. "My mother will be quite worried." Zane agreed. "So, it is settled then. We are going to our perspective homes." Maybelle commented. "I have a better idea." Zane told her. "I am listening." Maybelle told him. "We should run away together." Zane told her and she gasped. "And never go home?" Maybelle asked. "There will be people we both miss, but this is the only way we can make our own choice. Following our heart rather then our head." Zane replied.
