Maybelle stood by the lake in her Pegasus form. She watched as everyone scrambled around, getting ready to leave for the war. The Pegasus and Dragons are going to meet in the middle of their territories. Isabella was putting on armor when Maybelle walked up to her. "Are you going in this war?" Maybelle asked." Yes, Princess Maybelle. I do not have a choice." Isabella replied and Maybelle sighed. "But you have a son." Maybelle told her and Isabella nodded. "I know, which is why I am hoping you will keep an eye on him while I am gone." Isabella told her. "I cannot. Zane and I will be trying to make peace, stop the war, do something productive to save everyone and stop this before it gets any worst." Maybelle told her and Isabella nodded. "I understand." Isabella agreed. "I have plans for Eve, but I think Luna can watch Theaseus." Maybelle told her and Isabella managed a small smile. "Thank you." Isabella commented. "Of course." Maybelle agreed.
Zane stood at the edge of the forest, watching all the Dragons getting ready for their with the Pegasus. He sighed as he watched them closely. He saw his mom putting on armor and he walked up to her. "Mother? Since when have you been a solider?" Zane asked and she sighed. "I am trying to fix your mistake, Zane." Mandy replied as she walked away and Neal walked over to him. "Are you alright?" Neal asked and Zane shook his head. "No." Zane replied. "Understandable." Neal commented. "I am guessing the talk with your parent did not work, did it?" Zane asked. "I am afraid not." Neal replied. "I do not know what to do now." Zane told him. "Go find Maybelle and create a new plan of action. Alexa and Henry do not know what to do anymore either. Find them. I believe in you and Maybelle and the cause you both are fighting for." Neal replied. "Okay. Thank you, Neal." Zane commented and Neal nodded. "I am always here." Neal agreed.
The Dragons and Pegasus met up in the middle of their territories. The King's were leading it, with their Queen's right behind them. John had told Christopher to stay at the caves and take care of his siblings and all of their people. Anastasia had told Maybelle to stay at the mountains and protect their people, and to stay out of trouble. "Are you sure you want to begin a war you can never win?" John asked and Roman laughed. "Oh, definitely, but I can and will win this." Roman replied. "Soldiers!" John called and all the Dragon warriors got in their fighting stance. "Get ready!" Roman exclaimed as the Pegasus warriors got in their fighting stance. "Attack!" Anastasia and Melissa called in unison. The King's and Queen's moved out of the way as their warriors began fighting. Roman and John began fighting as Anastasia and Melissa began fighting. John blew fire at Roman and he flapped his wings, flying upwards. He blew ice at John, who blocked it with the armor on his wings. John flew up and charged at Roman. Roman clawed John in the face and John bit Roman's leg with his sharp teeth. Roman smacked him with his hoove, pretty hard, and John fell to the ground. John groaned as he sat up and Roman landed on his hooves. "John!" Melissa exclaimed. "I am fine, Melissa." John told her and Anastasia used the opportunity to knock her off her feet. Melissa sighed as John blew fire at Anastasia, scorching her legs, since they do not have armor like almost everywhere else. Roman kicked John in the face, as he fell down again. Melissa blew fire at John's back, causing him to scream in pain. Then Anastasia blew ice at Melisa, freezing her arm, and causing her to scream in pain. "No!" John exclaimed. Melissa blew fire at Anastasia, burning her shoulder, and she yelped in pain. John growled and charged at Roman, causing him to fall and hit his head, and he became unconscious.
Anastasia clawed John's face, and Melissa jumped on her back, clawing her back, and causing blood to start to ooze out. Anastasia pushed Melissa off of her and clawed her chest, making a deep scratch with blood coming out. Part of Anastasia's armor on her left wing was coming loose, and John took the opportunity to sink his fangs into her wing. Sher cried out in pain and Isabella jumped on, John. She clawed him as he fell to the ground. He was on the ground, bleeding out. Melissa left Anastasia and ran up to him, trying to stop the bleeding. Tears were running down her cheeks. "No. No, no, no. Please, John. Wake up. Don't die on me." Melissa pleaded. Isabella walked up to Anastasia. "Are you alright, my Queen?" Isabella asked. "Yes, thank you." Anastasia replied. Isabella ran over and rejoined the fight. Anastasia watched Melissa crying over John's dying body. They truly love each other, but she has never felt that way about Roman and he has definitely never felt that way about her. She sighed as she turned away from the sad scene. She started think, things running around in her mind. Is that how her daughter feels about the Dragon boy? Anastasia had always wanted to love someone like that and to have someone to love her like that. Can she really deny that from her daughter, to take it away from her? What kind of mother does that make her? She shook those thoughts from her head and walked over to Roman, helping him up. "Are you alright?" Anastasia asked. "I will be better once we win this." Roman replied. Anastasia was visibly injured in several spots, but she'll be okay. "Isabella brought down King John, saving my life. So that gives us an advantage point." Anastasia told him and he nodded. "Good." Roman commented. A Dragon ran toward them and Roman pushed Anastasia out of the way and went head first toward the warrior. Melissa slowly stood up. "The King is dead!" Melissa exclaimed in tears and the Dragons all gasped. "No." Mandy commented. "Kill them all!" Melissa exclaimed with a lot of rage. The Dragons charged at the Pegasus with great force.
