Gold and Blue had reached the Kanto Media Office. This was the place all the Pokemon Reporters worked in. They went into the office and were pleasantly surprised by who they saw in there. It was Brendan! Brendan was a friend of Gold and Blue (and also Red) from Hoenn. Gold immediately greeted him. Brendan seemed to be surprised to see Gold too. 'What are you doing in Kanto?' Gold asked.
'Well, I had come here with all of my friends to celebrate Victor's victory in the Galar League and also in another Tournament!' Brendan told 'He is a newcomer Champion so we decided to cheer him up and also give him some tips on how to retain his position as a Champion. What's the point if you lose your title just after gaining it, am I right?' 'Yeah.' Gold said with a chuckle. 'So... you invited all your friends but not us?' Blue asked.
'Well, I wanted to call you guys too but Blue, you had told me that you were busy in some extremely important research with the ground or land or something and Gold, you had told me that you were focusing on finding and battling stronger trainers in Kanto so I didn't want to distract or disturb both of you!' 'Okay but why are you guys celebrating in Kanto out of all regions?' Gold asked 'Kalos would be better for celebrations, am I right?' 'Yeah but Calem REALLY wanted to catch a Charizard so we came here.' Brendan replied. 'Little does he know that the best way to get a strong Charizard is to evolve it from a Charmander and not just randomly catch one and Charmanders are way more common than Charizards anyways.' Gold said. 'Exactly, but he said he doesn't want it for battling but just for keeping since he has been a fan of Charizards ever since he was a child soo...' Brendan replied.
'Anyways, why are you here in this Media Office?' Blue asked. 'Oh, it's not only me that is here, all of us are here!' Brendan said 'The rest of them are just on another floor. They want to let everyone know about Victor's victory and so we came here so that we could publish the news in newspapers.' 'If they are upstairs, why are you here?' Gold asked. 'I have been thinking about something...' Brendan said.
'What is it?' Blue asked. 'All of our legendary pokemons are gone.' Brendan revealed 'Though we are celebrating and all, I am still worried about that.' 'WHAT?' Gold yelled. 'Shhh!' Blue said 'This is an office! Keep quiet!' 'Okay but... That's insane!' Gold told in a lowered voice 'Why are you guys not worried about it more? If it was me, I would be REALLY worried!'
'We aren't worried about it because we never really had a true connection with our legendary pokemons and so, as it seems, we don't care about them.' Brendan said with a smile 'We have just used them for power. So it doesn't really matter to us whether they are gone or not. I also don't care about Groudon or Kyogre but I do care about this world and I am afraid that someone could do something bad with those pokemons if they are stolen!' 'But if someone stole them, they wouldn't be able to control those legendary pokemons.' Blue explained 'Whenever a legendary pokemon which is caught by a trainer gets stolen, it freaks out and destroys the thief so I don't think anybody would take that risk. The most likely explanation for this incident is... The Pokeballs of those Legendary Pokemons Must Have Been Stolen and then Destroyed.'
Gold and Brendan widened their eyes in shock.
