Today all the boys of Jodeci except K-Ci and all of us except Izzy and Xina, decided to hold a little meeting at me and Emani's crib. We want to plan for Izzy and K-Ci's birthday since they both fall on the same day, September 2nd. We told Xina to keep Izzy occupied for now since they live together and K-Ci is out with Mary so that worked out by itself. "Alright y'all so my baby sister is turning 21, K-Ci is turning what? 23?" I asked, standing up from the couch and facing them.
"Yeah he is, this man K-Ci love a party so that may be the way to go," Davin suggested.
"See but Izzy isn't a partier, she's more of a dinner and movie type of chick. You know, classy and shit," Emani explained and she's right. Izzy is very much an introvert, but a party might be a decent idea to bring her out of her comfort zone a little bit.
"Why not just get her to do both? Shoot she can do dinner and a movie, then party afterwards," JoJo shrugged. That's actuay not a bad idea...
"I like that idea Jo, hmm maybe somebody like Elgin can take her to a dinner and the movies and then af-," I begin to say before being rudely interrupted.
"Naww Naww...I'll take her, ion trust Elgin alone with her," DeVante quickly shut that whole idea down...well dang.
"Whipped," Dalvin coughed out, holding his fist over his mouth. DeVante shot him a look making me squint my eyes and smile. Does this nigga like my sister or something? I quickly brushed it off and moved on, hell it ain't my business.
"Oookaaay well DeVante, you can take my sis out to a dinner and the movies and then afterwards bring her to the club. We can get Mary to do the same with K-Ci, actually why don't y'all do like a little double date to make it easier?" I suggested.
"Maan hell naw! K-Ci and Mary crazy asses? They ain't finna ruin our date with their arguing," DeVante rejected the idea yet again which is starting to get on my nerves, dude is stubborn.
"DeVante! Dude just stick it out for one night! We can talk to Mary before hand ight? But this really has to come out perfectly."
DeVante slouched his back against the couch and rolled his eyes. "Ight damn, let's do that then."
"Great! Then it's a plan! Now, if y'all will excuse me, I'm gonna get dressed for this interview. What time do we need to be there again?" I ask. Tonignt we have a joint interview in Manhattan with Jodeci on Video LP. I'm tryna be extra cute today because my biggest crush Tupac is supposed to be there. He's interviewing on the show right before us. The girls and I have known him for almost 2 years because he used to be our label mate for Interscope before we signed to Swing Mob. Kind of like us, Pac has been getting in a bit of trouble too. Most recently he was involved in a fight that broke out into a shooting in Marin City, California. Surprisingly Interscope hasn't cut him loose like they did us...well not yet anyway. Pac and I would have little flirty moments here and there, but I'm almost 100% sure he doesn't know how I truly feel about him, but hopefully that'll change soon.
