EPISODE 19

Can pulled back from kissing Sanem. He told her he was sorry and that should not have happened. He told her he still didn't trust her. He told he stood behind everything he just said to her. He told her she was very precious to him. He told her they could start everything over from the beginning, but as friends. He told her to trust her again; to trust her as a sweetheart and to open his heart to her again...Sanem interrupted him and said it is very hard, I know. Can told her he would like her to always be with him as a friend. Can took both of her hands and held them. Sanem's heart was crumbling inside her. He asked her if they could stay friends. Sanem looked him in the eyes and told him she didn't know. To be his friend, but yet still love him very much, was going to be difficult for her. Can said he understood. Sanem said she could try to be his friend, but she could not guarantee that it would work. Suddenly the elevator started moving. Sanem said we are saved. The doors opened and the guard said, Mr. Can, did you get stuck in the elevator? Can said yes, we did. Can said he thought everyone had left and nobody would hear them. The guard told Mr. Can to not be offended. He was outside and did not hear anybody. Can said OK. Can and Sanem exited the elevator.

They went out to the parking garage and realized it was very late. To late for Sanem to sneak inside her home. She tried to call Ayhan but got no answer. Sanem asked Mr. Can if he could drop her at the hotel down the street. She would stay there for the night. She would get up in the morning and come straight to work. Can said impossible. She would stay at his house. He got in the truck and shut the door. Sanem knocked on his window. Can rolled the window down. Sanem told him such a thing was impossible. He said why. She said he was her friend and she was not going to disturb him. She started to walk towards the hotel. Can started blowing his horn. He told her to get in, for God's sake. It was late and they were tired. She said if you say it is possible then OK. She got into the truck. Can drove them to his house. Once they entered the house, they both sat down on the couch. Sanem said she was so tired. Can said he was hungry. Can wanted to order something but nothing to heavy since it was late. There was barely anything open to deliver with it being so late. They finally found a place that made toast that tasted like pizza. They ate their fill. They were ready to sleep so Can suggested they sleep. Sanem misunderstood him and thought he meant together. She walked over to the couch and laid down. She said she only needed a blanket. Can said he had a spare bedroom and she could sleep there. He pulled her off the couch and showed her the spare bedroom. He went to get her clothes to sleep in. Sanem was mumbling to herself about Can and his many girlfriends. Can was behind her and heard everything. He asked her to please not talk behind his back. She said there was only one t-shirt, correct? And he tends to loan it to every woman who came there. Can asked her why she says such things. He had already explained about Deren. Sanem told him she did not want to wear the same shirt Deren wore. She would just sleep in her clothes. He brought her a different t-shirt and shorts to sleep in. He also brought her a new toothbrush. Sanem said thanks. Can left the room.

A little later, Sanem realized she needed a charger for her cell phone and went to Can's room to see if he had one. She knocked but he did not answer. She slowly opened the door and met Can, with only a towel wrapped around his bottom half. She tried not to look, but Lord was it hard not to. She asked for a cell phone charger without looking at him. He said top drawer, but she would have to get it. She sat on the floor by the stand and opened the top drawer to get the charger. She snuck a peek at him. God he was beautiful. Like a Greek God. Can was secretly enjoying her looking at him. She left the room and said good night. Sanem went back to the spare bedroom.

She was having a nightmare about her, Emre and Can. She dreamed Can found out more stuff about Emre and Sanem. He told Sanem he never wanted to see her face again. Sanem was crying and talking in her sleep. Can was walking by the bedroom when he heard her. He opened her door and entered. He realized she was having a nightmare and sat on the bed with her. He was rubbing her face while saying her name. She woke up still crying. Can said it was a nightmare, but it was over. He gave her a drink of water. She threw herself into Can's arms, still crying. He rubbed her back. She finally let go of him. He asked her if she was OK. She said she was fine. Can told her he would be right back and left the room. He brought her his birthday present. It was a beautiful necklace made from amber. Can told her the story of the amber necklace. He then helped her put the necklace on. Can told her he would leave her so she could get some sleep. Sanem asked him if he would stay with her until she fell asleep. He said sure. Sanem laid down with Can sitting beside her.
