EPISODE 38

Sanem and Can just stared at their mothers. Can got up from the table and walked over to his mother. Sanem walked over to her mother. Can told his mother she needed to leave. She had no right to be there. Huma told Can she would not allow him to marry this girl. He smiled at his mother and said too little to late. He told her he was now married to Sanem and there wasn't a dam thing she could do about. Sanem tried talking to her mother. Mevkibe was upset and crying. She kept asking Sanem why she did this. Sanem told her mother she left her no choice. Sanem told her she refused to wait a year to marry the man she loved. Mevkibe told her she went against all their traditions. Mevkibe told her that her father was really going to be upset. Suddenly, Emre and Leyla appeared and announced that they were married. Mevkibe and Huma both fainted. Leyla and Sanem ran to their mother. Emre ran to his mother. Can just stood there, not knowing what to do. Mevkibe finally came around and asked her daughters if they were seriously married. Both girls said yes. Mevkibe told them their father was not going to handle this well. Huma then came around and asked Emre if he was really married. Emre told her yes. Huma started yelling that those Aydin girls were not good enough to carry the Divit name. Can walked over to her and said she was not good enough to carry his father's name. Huma said how dare he talk to her like that. Can told her he would talk to her anyway he saw fit. He told her him and Emre were now married to the women they loved, and she could leave the wedding hall. Huma stormed off.

Leyla and Sanem told Can and Emre they had to go speak to their father. They left with Mevkibe. Once they arrived at the parents' house, they went in search of the father. They found him sitting outside in the garden. He was excited to see both of his girls. He didn't get to see them much since they moved out. He kissed and hugged them both. He looked at Mevkibe and knew immediately something was wrong. Nihat asked what has happened. Sanem told her father there was something her and Leyla needed to tell him. Nihat said OK. Sanem told her father she just married Can at the wedding hall. Nihat immediately sat down. Leyla spoke next and told her father she had just married Emre at the wedding hall. Nihat just stared at his daughters. He asked them both if him and Mevkibe were such horrible parents. Did they mistreat them while they were growing up? Did they do without the things they needed? Leyla and Sanem both said they were wonderful parents. Nihat asked them how they could do such a thing to them. He told them they had traditions to follow before getting married. He told the girls he was very upset that they did this. He walked out of the room and left both girls crying. Sanem texted Can to come pick her and Leyla up. Him and Emre arrived as quick as they could. The girls got in the truck and Can could see they had both been crying. He drove them back to his house. Once inside, Leyla and Sanem sat on the couch. Both appeared to be in shock. Emre and Can sat across from them. Emre spoke first and asked Leyla what had happened. Leyla told Emre their father was disappointed in them. He accused them of going against tradition. Leyla asked Emre if they did the right thing by marrying so quickly. Emre said yes, they did. He told her they loved each other. Can and Sanem were going through hell just trying to get a wedding date. Emre told her he didn't want that for her. He took her hand and led her to his bedroom so they could talk.

Can sat down beside Sanem. He put his arm around her and asked if she was OK. Sanem told him she would be in time. Can asked her if she regretted getting married. Sanem did not hesitant and told him no. She told him she loved him and wanted to be with him forever. Can gave her a kiss. Can told her that her parents would come around eventually. They loved their daughters and only wanted what was best for them. Sanem said she knew that. She looked at Can and asked where they were going to live. Can laughed and said he hadn't thought that far ahead. He told her that her and Leyla could move in here with him and Emre until things got decided. Sanem smiled and said that sounded good to her. Can told her he would talk to Emre. Sanem smiled and said she could not believe they were married. She said her name...Sanem Divit. She told Can she liked the sound of it. Can smiled and said he did too. He kissed her again. Sanem shyly asked him if they would have their wedding night tonight. Can told her there was no hurry. When she was ready, she could let him know. Sanem said OK. She admitted to being scared and just needed a little more time. Can told her that was fine. He told Sanem all four of them would go speak to her father tomorrow. Sanem said OK.
