Can made sweet love to Sanem all night long. God, how he had missed her. They ended up falling asleep still holding each other. They woke up the next day with no regrets. They got dressed and ate breakfast together. It felt like old times again after they first got married. They talked and laughed over breakfast. Can asked her what she was going to do today. Sanem said she didn't know. She asked Can what about him. He said he had no plans either. Can asked her if she wanted to go do something together. Sanem smiled and said she would like that. In the afternoon, Can drove Sanem into town to catch an early movie. It was a romantic comedy. They ate popcorn, drank soda and laughed throughout the movie. After the movie, Can took her for a bite to eat. They had her favorite...pizza. Sanem had not felt this happy in such long time. The protective wall she had built around her heart was starting to crumble. Can was finding a way back into her heart and she was secretly happy about it. Soon, they were headed back to the farm. Can told her he was going to go check on his father. He gave her a quick kiss and they went their separate ways.
Sanem ended up on the pier doing her nightly ritual. She took her medication, wrote a wish on a piece of paper, put the wish in the bottle and threw it into the sea. She was leaving the docks when she saw Can headed her way. She ducked behind a bush until he passed by. She watched him sit in the very spot she just vacated. He was looking out to the sea, deep in thought. She stayed behind a building so he would not see her. She watched him for a while with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face. She got tired and sat down behind the wall of the building. She eventually fell asleep. Can looked down into he water and saw a bottle floating. It realized it was Sanem's bottle. He reached into the water and pulled the bottle out. He opened it and pulled out the piece of paper. He had tears in his eyes after reading the note. Sanem wrote Please bring my albatross home. I miss him and need him to make me whole again.
Can put the paper back into the bottle and threw it back into the sea. He realized he had stayed on the docks all night just thinking. The sun had already risen. He got up and headed back to the farm. He stopped when he saw Sanem asleep against a wall of a building. He squatted down and pushed a piece of hair out of her face. He smiled because she was almost next to him all night. Sanem woke up, saw Can and smiled. He asked her what she was doing sleeping here all night. She lied and said she was waiting for her friend who went swimming. She said he never came back, so he probably drowned. Can looked at her strangely. Sanem took off running for home. Sanem decided to take a taxi to her old district. She hid under her hooded coat. She didn't want anyone to recognize her. As she walked, she recalled several memories of her and Can. She met Leyla for lunch at an outdoor cafe. Leyla asked if she was OK. Sanem said she didn't know if she was OK or not. She told Leyla she was still in love with her husband and wanted him back beside her. She admitted to Leyla she was scared he would leave her again. Leyla told her let him leave if that is what he wanted. Sanem told Leyla she didn't know if she would survive it a second time. After lunch, Sanem headed back to the main road to hail a taxi. Unknown to her, Can had got his truck out of storage. He pulled up along side her. She was shocked to see him in his truck. She immediately asked if he was leaving again. He told her no; he was not leaving. He offered her a ride back home. Sanem got in the truck and like the first time, her seat belt was stuck. Can leaned over her to help her with it. Sanem was scared. Can had his truck back and he could now leave at any time. Sanem said nothing on the way back to the farm. Can asked her if she OK. Sanem told him yes. She asked him what he was thinking about. He told her everything he missed while he was gone for that year. Sanem said while he was running away from her, he means. Can said he did not run away from her. She said he ran away; always running away. Can told her she didn't trust him and that was one of the reasons he ran away. Sanem said trust, trust, trust. She told him he didn't understand anything.
She told him to stop the truck. She wanted to exit. She told him again to stop the truck. Can pulled over and Sanem jumped out of the truck. Sanem started walking down the road. Can was calling her name. Sanem stopped and said trust. She wanted to know what he called trust. Can told her she thought he burned her notebook, when in fact, he did not. She told him her book was not worth more than him. Can asked her why she never told him that then and why she didn't tell him to stay. Sanem said she tried. She called him 10 minutes after he left the hospital, but the call would not connect. She yelled 10 minutes! He told her she abandoned him long before that night. He reminded her of all the things she said to him about their wedding, him being aggressive, all their problems. Sanem reminded him of all the times he abandoned her. He broke up with her over mistakes she had made or that he thought she had made; flirting with his ex-girlfriend Polen, flirting with Ceyda. She said everyone told her he would leave, but Sanem told them he wouldn't do that to her. But he did leave her. She said he originally did not come back for her. He came for his father. She wonders if he knew she was living here, if he would have even come back at all. She told him he had his truck back now and if he wanted to leave so bad, then leave. She yelled go away; leave again. She started hitting his chest and he grabbed her wrists. They were nose to nose. Can told her to get this straight. He was not leaving. He would not leave her again. He was hopelessly in love with her and she was stuck with him. He then kissed her passionately and she kissed him back. Sanem wrapped her arms around his neck. Can wrapped his arms around her back and pulled her closer. When he lifted his head, he said it again. He was not ever leaving her again. He was here to stay. Sanem hugged him tightly, like she was afraid to let go. They eventually got back into the truck and headed home.
