EPISODE 57

Soon the two weeks in Galapagos came to an end and they were all flying home. Sanem had the time of her life. She would never forget her time in Galapagos and seeing the albatrosses for the first time. She was so glad she got to share it with Can. If it wasn't for her husband, she doubted she would have ever visited Galapagos. He made her dream come true. They were all settled on the plane and Ates fell asleep. Can had his arm around Sanem and she was resting her head on his chest. She soon fell asleep with Can playing with her hair. Can was so happy that Sanem enjoyed herself. He would spend the rest of his days making his wife happy. He closed his eyes and soon he fell asleep. A while later, Sanem woke up, stretching like a cat. She looked up and saw her husband asleep. She checked on Ates and he was still asleep. Sanem reached up and ran her hand through Can's beard. He cracked open his eyes with a smile on his face. He looked at his wife and said hello, my love. Sanem smiled and said hello, sweetheart. Can leaned down and gave his wife a quick kiss. Sanem asked him if that was the best he had. Can kissed her again and his tongue danced with hers. When he lifted his head, he asked her if that was better. Sanem smiled mischievously and said it will do. Can said Oh really. He kissed her again passionately. It seemed to go on forever. When he lifted his head, they were both out of breath. Can asked her if that was better. Sanem told him much better. Ates woke up and was cooing at his parents. Sanem picked him up and took him to the restroom to change him. When they returned to their seats, Can had his bottle ready. He took him from Sanem and fed his son. Ates grabbed his daddy's finger and held on to it.

Once he was done with his bottle, Mihriban asked to hold him. Can handed him over to Mihriban. Ates loved his grandparents. They spoiled him rotten. Can took Sanem back in his arms and held her. She wrapped her arms around him and laid her head on his chest. Can laughed and asked her why she always laid her head on his chest. Sanem looked up at him and told him that his chest was made just for her head. Can laughed at her. Sanem told him she needed a pillow shaped just like his chest. Can told her she was silly. Sanem told him he loved her silliness. Can told her yes, he did. Can asked Sanem when they were going to have more babies. Sanem just stared at him. Sanem asked if he was kidding. Can told her no. In his dreams they had three children and Ates needed siblings. Sanem told Can she would like to wait until Ates was at least walking and out of diapers. Can said he didn't want to wait that long. He wanted his daughters here with them. Sanem asked daughters? Can said yes....Yildiz and Deniz. He told Sanem then his family would be complete. Sanem laughed and said he was crazy. Can said she liked crazy. Sanem said yes, she did, but she still wanted to wait a while before having more children. Can sighed and said OK, he guessed. Sanem told him they would have more children in time. Can seemed disappointed. She kissed his cheek and told him neither one of them were taking precautions, so if she were to get pregnant, then it was meant to be. Can smiled and said he understood.

After the long flight, they landed in Istanbul. Can ran to get his truck to pull up in front of the airport. Soon, everyone's luggage was loaded, and they were on their way home. Can dropped his dad and Mihriban off first, then he headed home. Sanem took Ates in the house while Can unloaded the truck. Sanem changed his diaper and fed him again. Can brought their luggage in and started some laundry. Ates fell asleep after eating, so Sanem laid him in his crib. She went to unpack their hygiene bags. Once she was done, she in search of her husband. She found him sitting on the balcony. She sat down on his lap and asked him what he was thinking about. Can gave her a quick kiss and told her he wasn't thinking about anything. He was just resting from their long flight. Sanem asked him if he was sure nothing was wrong. Can told her nothing was wrong...everything was good. Sanem told him she loved him. Can smiled at her, but it didn't quite reach his eyes. He told her he loved her too. She watched her husband and she knew there was something on his mind, but she decided not to push the issue. She got up from his lap and went into the house. She asked herself if Can was upset about her wanting to wait to have more children. Did she hurt his feelings? She would never do anything to purposely upset her husband. He was her everything. Maybe she should give in and let him have what he wanted...what he dreamed of. She walked back outside and found him still deep in thought. She grabbed his hand and pulled him to his feet. She walked him to their bedroom. Can asked what she was doing. Sanem stood on tiptoes and kissed her husband deeply. When she pulled back, she started unbuttoning his shirt. He stopped her and asked her again what she was doing. Sanem told him she was trying to seduce her husband, but apparently, she was doing it all wrong. She left the bedroom. Can called her name, but she kept walking. She sat down in the living area and grabbed her book off the coffee table. She started reading. Can walked up to the couch and grabbed her book. He sat down beside her and asked what had gotten into her. Sanem said nothing. Can made her look at him. He asked her what was going on. Sanem looked at her husband and told him she was giving him what he wanted. He could have more babies if he still wanted them. Can just stared at her. Can told her they both had to agree for more kids or there would be no more kids. Sanem told him she decided to agree with him and give him more children. Can looked into her eyes and asked her if it was something she really wanted. Sanem said she wants whatever her husband wants. Can told her if she was not ready for more children yet, then they could wait. Sanem said OK and looked away. She told Can she was jet lagged and was going to take a nap. She got up and walked to the bedroom. She laid down and covered herself up. She laid there and silently cried.
