EPISODE 2

Can took Sanem to his hut. He had never taken anyone there. It was his sanctuary. His place to go to be alone. But he felt she was different. When he pulled up, Sanem asked where they were. Can told her to come and see. They got out of the truck and walked to the hut. Sanem was in awe. It was beautiful. Can explained where they were. Sanem told him he was so lucky to have a place like this. Can gave her a t-shirt and a pair of shorts to sleep in. Sanem had already called Ayhan to cover for her with her mother. After changing, Sanem came outside to sit near the fire that Can had started. Can was able to see the bruises on Sanem's arm, thanks to Emre. He felt anger growing in the pit of his stomach. He asked her if she would tell him what happened between her and Emre.

Sanem told him she really didn't know. She told him when she first started, he asked her for help. He told her that Can was trying to ruin their father's company and he was a bad person. He overheard a conversation Sanem was having on the telephone about needing money for her father. Emre offered her $40,000, to which she declined. Then the file came to the office for Emre that she signed for. She accidentally left it with Can and Emre flipped out when he found out. That is when he hurt her and called her names. Can was quiet for a minute and then asked her what was in the file. Sanem told him she did not know. It was in a red envelope and she did not open it. Sanem asked him if he was trying to ruin the company. Can told her no. Why would he purposely destroy something his father built? Can asked her what kind of help was she supposed to give Emre? Sanem told him she didn't know. It never got that far.

Can asked Sanem what her father needed $40,000 for. Sanem told him her father fell behind on the grocery store payments and the store was being auctioned off. Can asked Sanem if there was anything he could do to help. Sanem smiled and told him no. Can told them they needed to get some sleep. He told her he would unfold the couch into a bed for her, so she would be more comfortable. Sanem told him to take the bed. She could sleep on the floor. Can smiled and told her no. He was use to sleeping outdoors, which was what he was going to do tonight. Sanem said OK. She told him good-night. Can smiled and said good-night.

The next morning, Can dropped her off at Ayhan's. Sanem agreed to continue working at the agency, as Can's assistant only. She would have no contact with Emre. Sanem got ready for work and caught the bus. She arrived at the agency and went to Can's office. She asked him what he needed her to do today. Can told her he needed to go to the printing house and he wanted her to come with him. She said OK. He said he would meet her out front. When Sanem got out front, she didn't see Can's truck. She heard a whistle and looked over. There was Can sitting on a motorcycle. He was handing her a helmet. Sanem just stared. Can smiled and asked if there was a problem. Sanem said no; no problem. He said climb on. She climbed on, but held on for dear life. When they arrived at the printing house, Sanem accused him of trying to kill her. Can smiled and told her to stop acting like a child.

They entered the printing house, which is owned by Can's best friend, Akif. Can told Akif he needed help with printing a seal for a campaign. Akif told him it would be about an hour. His seal press was in use at the moment. Can said OK. He asked Sanem if she wanted to take a walk. Sanem said OK. They walked along the coast and Can asked if she was hungry. Sanem immediately said yes; she was starving. Can started laughing. Sanem asked what was so funny. He said all the women he knew barely ate anything and they definitely didn't drink tea. Sanem asked him what kind of women he knew. Can just laughed.

They sat down at a little cafe by the coast. Sanem looked out over the sea and said it was very beautiful. Can said yes it was, but he was looking at Sanem when he said it. They ate, talked and laughed. Can couldn't remember the last time he laughed with a woman. He was really enjoying her company. After they ate, they headed back to the printing house. Akif told them they had lost power. Can told him that wouldn't work. He needed this printed before tomorrow morning. Can asked Akif if he still had his father's tools for engraving. Akif said yes, but he wasn't sure if it even worked anymore. Can said let's go see.

It worked and Can was able to hand draw a design for the campaign with Sanem's help. Sanem could not believe how talented he was. She snapped a picture of the drawing when he left the room. She wanted to show her sister how talented Can was. When he returned, she asked him if she could have one of those invitations from the 40th anniversary party. He said of course. Sanem tried to reach them. They were high on the shelf. Can came up behind her and reached to get her one. Then he smelled her. That smell. He knew that smell. It then realized it was Sanem he kissed at the anniversary party. He asked her why she wanted one of the invitations. She shyly smiled and said it was a souvenir of the best night of her life. Can smiled and asked her what was so great about it. Sanem seemed embarrassed, but she told him she found her albatross that night. Can said albatross? Sanem said she had been dreaming about her albatross for years. She sees him in her dreams. She writes about him. She knows he is her one and only true love. Can asked who is he? Sanem told him she didn't know. She never sees his face in her dreams. She told him that night at the opera house she never saw his face either. She knew he had a beard and shiny black dress shoes. He asked how she knew he had a beard? She told him she felt it. I have been trying to find him, she said. But I am having no luck. She pulled out her albatross list and let Can read it. Can asked her why his name wasn't on there. He was at the anniversary party and he had a beard. Sanem smiled and told him he was dressed sportively. Can said ah, I see. Can let the subject drop and asked if she was ready to head home. She said yes.

Can dropped her off at home and proceeded to head home himself. All the way home, he thought of nothing but Sanem. He found the girl he kissed. He just didn't know how to tell her. He also changed his mind about using the drawing for the campaign. Once he got home, he changed the theme completely....to an albatross theme. That night, he dreamed of the kiss at the opera house. He dreamed of Sanem.

The next day, Sanem sent her sister, Leyla a picture of Can's drawing. Leyla was not near her phone when the message came in, but Emre was. He saw the drawing and sent it to his phone. He then deleted it from Leyla's phone. Once in his office, he sent it to his girlfriend, Aylin, so she could use it for her campaign. She was scheduled before Can, so the airline company would see hers first. Can met his team there, as Aylin was coming out of the meeting. Can told Deren they were using this campaign and handed her a new folder. Aylin was in shock. She called Emre and started screaming at him that he messed up. Can and his team won the campaign for the airlines.

They returned back to the agency to share the good news with everyone. He went to find Sanem to thank her for the albatross idea. He ran right smack into her. He noticed she had a big yellow sign hanging around her neck, but she would not let him see it. He tricked her and got a hold of it. He read what it said..."My name is Sanem, not other". Can thought it was adorable. He took it and hung it on the skeleton outside the office. He told her nobody would call her other again. She told him thank you.

Can was home that night when Polen called. She was insisting on seeing him. She wanted more out of their relationship. More than what Can wanted. Polen was in love with him, but he did not feel this way towards her. He was getting bored with the whole situation with Polen. So, he put her off.

Can told everyone in the company he was having a cook-out/party at his house tonight to celebrate winning the airline campaign. Everyone was invited. Sanem went with Cey Cey. While Can was working the grill, his eyes kept following Sanem, while she danced and laughed. She went and sat down to eat her sandwich. Can got his sandwich and joined her. He asked her if she was thinking about her albatross. Sanem asked him if he was making fun of her. He said no. He was just curious if she found him yet. Can told her that he saw one once in a quiet ocean. It was wild, large, lonely with huge wings. Can told her it was one-minded, and it has a very developed sense of smell. The albatross never forgets the fragrance he once felt. Sanem did not know it, but Can was describing himself. She thanked him for telling her and went to join Cey Cey.

A little later, Sanem was near the pool and wasn't paying attention. She fell in, clothes and all. Emre was standing near by and offered her a hand. Sanem was still afraid of Emre and would not take his hand.She climbed out on her own. Emre told her to go in the house and put something on of his until her clothes dried in the dryer. Sanem told him OK. She ended up in Can's room by mistake. She put one of his over-sized shirts on and put her clothes in the dryer. Can came into his room to take a shower. He had just taken his shirt off when he heard the dryer beep that it was completed. He came out in time to see Sanem trying to sneak out of his room. He called her name. She turned around embarrassed. Can noticed she had one of his shirts on and nothing else.
