EPISODE 27

Can came around the corner to see what was taking Sanem so long to answer the door. Can found Sanem on the floor and his mother standing above her. Can went ape shit. He walked over to his mother and asked her what right she had to put her hands on his beloved. He gave Sanem his hand and he pulled her up. He pulled her against him and put his arm around her. Can looked at his mother and said he was waiting for an answer. Huma said your beloved. Huma said she was just an employee. Can raised his voice and told Huma Sanem was not an employee. She was his fiancé...his beloved...his heart. Huma rolled her eyes at him. Huma said more of a gold digger if you ask me. Sanem looked at this woman in shock. Can threw Huma's coat to her and told her to get out. She was not welcome in his home. Emre came around the corner and greeted their mother. Can told Emre to get her out of here now. Emre told Can she was their mother. Can said not my mother...your mother. Can said if wasn't leaving, then he was. He grabbed Sanem's hand and led her out of the house. The got in the truck and Can pealed out of the driveway.

While on the road, Sanem asked where they were going. Can said he didn't know. He said probably the mountain hut. He said he could not be in the same room with that woman. Can said he would drop her off at home. It was probably best if she went home. Sanem grabbed Can's hand and told him she goes where he goes. She was not leaving him. She texted Leyla to tell her she was staying with Can. Sanem laid her head on Can's shoulder. When they got to the hut, Can started chopping wood. He needed to burn off some energy. Sanem watched him and knew he was having a hard time dealing with his mother showing up. She walked over to him and hugged him from behind. He dropped the ax and turned around to face her. He embraced her. Can thanked her for being there with him. Sanem told him she would always be next to him. Can gave her a quick kiss.

Sanem told Can she made a bad first impression on his mother. Can yelled who cares what that woman thinks. Sanem told him she met her before tonight. Can said how. Sanem told him that she came to her parent's neighborhood yesterday. Can said what. Sanem told him her car broke down in her neighborhood. Huma got into it with her mother and then Sanem got into it with Huma. She told Can that Huma kicked the cat's food bowl over and tried to kick the cat. Sanem told Can she went off on his mother when she refused to refill the food bowl. Can told Sanem it was no coincidence that Huma was in the quarter. Sanem said what do you mean. Can said she came to see where Sanem lived and check out the woman he loved. Sanem said are you serious. Can said yes, that was how Huma worked. She wanted to make sure Sanem was good enough for her older son. Sanem went quiet. Can hugged her and told her not to worry. He did not need Huma's approval to be with her. He looked in Sanem's eyes and told her he loved her, and nobody could stop his love for her. Can just wanted to know why she crawled out of her hole and reappeared after all these years. Sanem told him she was his mother and maybe she wanted to make amends with him. Can said she is Emre's mother, not mine and it was way to late to try and make amends with him. She walked away from him when he was 8 years old and as far as he was concerned, she could keep walking.

Later, in the hut, Can made them tea. They were sitting side by side enjoying their tea and each other. Sanem tried to talk to Can about his mother. She told him he should give her a chance and at least listen to her. Sanem said everyone needs a mother's compassion. Can said he needed nothing from her. The only thing he needed was Sanem. He gave her a passionate kiss. He lifted his head and smiled at her. He told her she was the only person he needed in his life. Can asked if he needed to drive her home. Sanem said no. She was staying here with him. Emre texted him to let him know their mother went back to her hotel room. Can told Sanem he could go home now. Huma was gone from the house. He asked Sanem what she wanted to do. Sanem said she goes where he goes. Can smiled and said then let's go back to my house. Sanem said OK.

When they got to Can's house, Can went into the kitchen to talk to Emre. Sanem went to Can's bedroom to find something to sleep in. Can asked Emre if it was him who told Huma about Sanem and where she lived. Emre told him no, it wasn't him. Can asked who could have told her. Emre said the only one he could think of was Aylin. Can said of course it was Aylin. He told Emre they needed to get rid of this insane woman. He asked Emre why Huma appeared after all these years. Emre told him he didn't know. He told Can their mother was upset over Can's arrest and maybe that is why she came. Can said there was something else. He just could not put his finger on it. Can went to his bedroom and found Sanem already asleep in his bed. He quickly changed into his sleepwear and slid in beside her. He pulled her into his arms and held her throughout the night.
