Sanem told Can they could not be stuck until morning. She could not stay here on this beach until tomorrow. It was impossible. Can asked her why it was impossible. Sanem stuttered and said she just couldn't. What would they eat? Where would they sleep? Can said he would catch some fish. Sanem told him she could not eat fish. He asked her why she couldn't eat fish. Sanem wouldn't look at him and just said she couldn't. Can said he would go get some fruit off the trees then. Sanem told him that takes care of food, but where would she sleep. Can told her he would take care of it. Sanem told him no, she would go look for help. Can kept trying to talk her out of it. He told her it would be dark soon. He told her it was hard to tell how far away help was. Sanem kept walking. Can finally picking her up and put her over his shoulder. He was very careful with her, considering he knew she was pregnant with his child. Sanem kept yelling for him to put her down. Can had a flashback of doing this exact same thing to her. So, he stopped walking. Sanem told him he was scaring her. He slowly put her down. Sanem asked him what happened. Why was he acting like a caveman? Can said he had de ja vu. He told her he read something about it in her book. But she never described him as a caveman; more like a hero. Can told her he would go and find her some fruit to eat.

When Can returned, he had an arm load of fruit. He pulled out a bottle of wine from the jet ski. He offered Sanem a glass. Sanem refused. Can told her she loved wine. He read it in her book. Sanem said she does love wine, but she couldn't have any right now. Can asked why. Sanem told him she just couldn't. Sanem told Can she was going for a swim. She would not remove her over-sized t-shirt. When she got out of the water, he asked her why she didn't remove her t-shirt. Sanem told him she was a little cold. While she was swimming, Can made a bed out of tree limbs, branches and leaves. Sanem asked where she would sleep. Can said right here with him. Sanem told him no; she could not sleep with a man who did not love her. Can got angry. He asked where she thought she was...at a luxury hotel that serves a 4-course meal? Sanem told him she could not sleep beside him. It would not be right. Can told her she could. They were technically still married, and he promised not to touch her. Sanem sat down and ate some fruit. When she ate her fill, it was starting to get dark.

Can told her he thought it was time for them to talk. Sanem agreed. They started at the same time. Can told her she could go first. Sanem told Can she was sorry for everything. She told Can she knew his memory loss was not his fault. She was sorry for treating him so badly. She was just frustrated that no matter what she tried, nothing seemed to jog his memory. She told Can she loved him more than herself and that would never change. Can had a flashback of her saying those exact same words to him. Sanem continued. She told Can she didn't really want the divorce, but since he longer had any memories of them, it did not seem right to keep him tied down. With tears in her eyes, she told him there would never be anyone else for her. He was her first love, only love and she would never want anyone else ever. Sanem stood up and went to stand by the water. Can walked up to her and wrapped her in his arms. He asked if he could speak now. Sanem nodded, with tears running down her face. Can told her it was true, he no longer remembered their love, but he would not agree to a divorce. She was not tying him down. He felt a connection with her, and he was not ready to give up on that connection. He asked her to please not give up on them. He begged her for more time to recover his memories. He admitted he felt something for her, he just could not explain it right now. Sanem told him even though he didn't remember her or their love, she was glad he didn't die in that car accident. Sanem said at least she still gets to see him...hear his voice and know that he is walking on this earth. She told him they may not ever get back together, but she is so very happy he is alive. She hugged him and he hugged her back.

They ended up sleeping side by side on the makeshift bed Can put together. Can woke up first to find his arm around Sanem and her head on his chest. He started playing with her hair. She slowly woke up to Can rubbing her arm. Sanem told him she was sorry she ended up so close to him during sleep. Can smiled and said he had no problem with it. Sanem sat up and told Can she needed to tell him something. Can sat up beside her and said OK. Sanem took his hand and laid it on her stomach. Can pretended to be confused. She told Can she was almost 4 months pregnant with his baby. He asked her why she waited until now to tell him. Sanem told him she didn't want him to feel pressured to stay with her out of obligation to their baby. She told him she was going to tell him when his memories returned, but it looked like that would never happen. She wanted to tell him before she started really showing. Can said that is why she refused to eat fish and drink some wine. Sanem nodded. She said no alcohol while pregnant and sea food is a no no. Can told her thanks for telling him. He told her he wanted to be in his baby's life, and they should stay married. Sanem told him it would not work if their marriage was only one-sided love. Can asked her for more time to recover his memories. Sanem nodded. Can smiled and told her thank you. Sanem told him her next appointment would be the ultrasound to see what the sex of the baby is. Can said he would take her. Sanem said OK. Can went and tried the jet ski and it started. He drove Sanem and himself back to the hotel, so they could head home to Istanbul.
