For the next two hours straight Edward and Eclair argued and discussed the information they found about the stone and it's power. Eclair and Edward either agreed or disagreed on almost everything they found. Though the studying and arguing was enough to make them burn themselves out. Edward and Eclair were on the brink of falling asleep right before they had a rude awakening from Roy who had announced that they made it to their destination. Of course the two of them weren't happy to have been disturbed from their sleep like state for a second time. Though a quite threaten to turn the two of them into a pile of ashes was enough to make them get into gear and grab their things. Al, Winry, Edward, Ecair, and Roy finally exited the train and made their way to the Elaine household. It didn't take much time for them to arrive there where Eclair had became slightly anxious. She was hoping her mother hadn't come but it did not look like any signs of her were present so she sighed to herself as she opened the door and was greeted by Mr. Elaine's wife first.

"Éclair, welcome back dear." She told the group as she smiled, "how was your trip?"

"Are you okay? No one's here, are they? No one found you, right? And my crazy psychopathic mother isn't here?" Éclair demanded of Mrs. Elanie.

Mrs. Elanie shook her head, "no, just your friends. No one new showed up. It's been quiet without you here."

"She's not here! She's not here!" Éclair smiled as she fell to her knees, smiling and laughing, "she isn't after me after all. We're all safe." Her laughter turned into tears of relief. Everyone else filed in, just as relieved. Éclair was able to pick herself up and go back to talking with Edward about their studies while everyone else brought in their bags and began to settle back down in relief.

Edward and Éclair returned up to the room Éclair was staying in and began their intensive studying. In their studying, Éclair tried once again to get her stone to glow blue but was finding no such way to do so, which frustrated them both.

"This stupid mark still makes no sense." Éclair grumbled, "it's hard to figure out something with alchemy that can break every law of alchemy."

Edward huffed in exasperation as he fell back onto the bed a book covering his face. "Why does everything involving stones have to be so complicated?" he complained.

"If it were easy, I'm sure this world would've been way more messed up by now. Besides, I can't complain that someone with a pea-brain isn't running this world." Éclair shook her messy overgrown bangs from her face, "I don't even know how this thing works or how to activate it most of the time anyway. It kinda just does what it does and I try to live my life around it."

Edward moved the book from his face and looked at some of the notes they had recently written out. "Do you think that maybe your stone being activated at certain times has to do with Regrets stone possibly?"

Éclair shrugged, "It's a possibility, I mean I know it does. Mine is directly tied to hers. When we took her out, I lost all those weird powers that come with my stone. But I don't think what happened today was related to her, unless she was also getting her butt handed to her by someone." Éclair shook her head, her hands gravitating to her stone.

Edward rethought again. "It was weird, it was like I was controlling you when I touched you earlier..." He commented as he thumbed through more notes.

"You what?" Éclair turned her glare to Edward, raising a single eyebrow out of her curiosity.

"I said, it was like I was able to control you. I mean think about it, El." Edward spoke looking up from the papers and at her.

Éclair grumbled, "It's true you were able to stop me from being able to do anything...but I don't like to think about it that way..."
