"Cup full of love, drink it for me."
——————-Tonight was the home run derby and I knew Christian was nervous beyond belief. I didn't understand why, he had the most home runs in the league, he had nothing to worry about.
I walked in the bathroom after changing into the National ASG shirsey I got from Christian, a pair of jeans, and my white slide on vans. My hair was slightly wavy, nothing too special. Wrapping my arms around Christian as he was shaving his face and brushed his teeth, I kissed his cheek. "Are you feeling okay, baby?" I asked, looking up at him as he turned around and leaned against the counter.
"Yeah, just nervous. I don't wanna fuck up. This is not the night to do that." He said as he shrugged and walked by the bed and grabbed his bag. "You promise you're gonna be cheering me on?"
I smile and nod at him. "Why wouldn't I cheer you on, babe? You're gonna kill it." I reached out for his hand as we walked out of the hotel room and downstairs to wait for our Uber. I gave his hand a slight squeeze, looking up at him. "Don't be nervous, okay?" I kissed his hand and walked out to the Uber once it arrived.

Thankfully, we were allowed to be in the lounge in the clubhouse at this stadium. I know Christian couldn't go and do his thing without seeing me first.I talked with some other girlfriends and wives of those that were participating in the derby and players that were playing tomorrow in the all star game. It felt nice to be around women who understood the struggle of having a baseball boyfriend/husband.
Christian walked in not too long after and pulled me in for a hug. "Can't go play baseball without getting a kiss from my girl." He said as I smiled, standing on my tiptoes and kissed him.
He grabbed my thighs and lifted me up, and I giggled against his lips. "Hey! Put me down." I said, still giggling. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I pecked his lips. "Just gonna carry me around? Because I have no problem with that."
He smiled and shook his head. "This is easier for you instead of standing on your tiptoes." He said as he set me down and grabbed a water from the cooler. "You gonna walk down with me?" He asked as I nodded, grabbing his hand and laced our fingers together as we walked down the hall together.
"Aw, Christian! You and your girlfriend are so cute!!" One of the girlfriends said. Christian turned his head and flashed a smile at them before looking at me and then ahead of us as we walked.
Hearing girlfriend made my heart race a million miles a minute; We didn't have any labels on our relationship, nor did we say if we're boyfriend and girlfriend, but, I think we both like it that way. Of course I posted about him and my friends were aware that him and I were more than friends, I didn't think labels were necessary..
I fixed his uniform top for him before he leaned down and gave me one more kiss, this one was more loving and passionate than the one before. I put my hands on his cheeks as I couldn't help but kiss him back. He pulled back and smiled at me, "I better hear you cheering loud for me. You've screamed my name before." He said with a smirk as I widened my eyes and hit him in the arm, blushing like crazy.
"Shut up!" I said with a giggle. "Yes, I will be cheering you on. What kind of person would I be if I didn't support the man I love?" I asked as he kissed me again. "Good luck, baby. I love you so much." I said as I kissed his hands and let go so he could all go the dugout and get ready for the derby.

It was nearing the end of the derby and I was getting nervous. Christian was doing amazing, but I could tell he was getting exhausted. And I know he's going to be pissed if he doesn't win this..
