"Do you want more kids?" Nadia asked me as we laid in bed, tangled up in the covers. "I don't mean to like change the subject so drastically, just a question that's been on my mind,"
I nod, furrowing my eyebrows together as I think, "I don't know, how many were you thinking?"
We had been talking for hours at this point, getting back to the hotel nearly five hours ago. It was nearly 1AM, surprised neither one of us was tired yet. I didn't mind it, though. I could talk to this girl for the rest of my life. We talked about the silly little things like my baseball schedule, talked about some drama she had, talked about people on my team, and then she dropped the kids bomb.
Nadia shrugs, looking at our hands as she pressed her fingertips against mine before lacing our hands together, "I was thinking maybe one or two more? I think it just depends on what we can handle."
"I agree," I tell her, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "Of course I want Wyatt to have a sibling, it just depends on how many and when. I mean, we already had a tough time trying to organize everything with him. But, I think it was because he was our first kid,"
"We were just learning," Nadia finished off my sentence. "We both had to go through obstacles and realize what to change for when the next one comes around. I loved being pregnant, but at the same time, that shit gets really uncomfortable when you're trying to sleep or when you're wanting your man to make love." She giggled, shaking her head.
I chuckle, moving my hand to her chin, grazing my thumb along her jawline, "Hey, I wasn't complaining with you on top, though," I wiggled my eyebrows at her, causing her to giggle again. "Sometimes it's nice to not do all the work."
"Do all the work, shut up!" She laughed, hitting my arm softly, "You know you love being in charge,"
"That I do," I comment, agreeing with her, "I think it's just fun because it's with you. You are fabulous. Unreal. Amazing. I could go on.." I say as a blush creeps on her cheeks.
She rolled her eyes at me, "Mhm, yup. Keep going, mister." She stuck her tongue out at me and I just poked my tongue out at hers, "Hey!" She said, "That is groosss."
"Oh, come on, you've had worse things touch your tongue.." I shrug, and she hits my arm again.
"Christian Stephen! Stop being so dirty minded tonight!" She exclaims as I just laugh, pulling her closer.
"I'm not! You're the one taking it dirty!"
"You totally meant that last comment to be dirty, don't lie to me." She said, laughing.
I try to hide my smile, but I find it hard to contain, "You're right." I hold her hand, bringing it to my lips to press kisses on her knuckles, kissing her wedding ring as well. "But, you love me."
"I do, a lot." Nadia responds, "But I am tired, and I think we should go to sleep because we have to get Wyatt in the morning and you have a game.." She says before getting comfy in my arms and turned so her back was against my chest.
"Goodnight, beautiful. I love you." I said quietly as I kissed her temple and rubbed her side as I could feel her start to drift off in my arms. I truly cherished every moment I had with her.

I woke up the next morning with massive pain in my back. I must've pulled something in my sleep or did something at the game and it was just now hitting me. I winced as I slowly tried to sit up and Nadia stirred away as I moved my arms away from her.
"What time is it?" She rasped out, rubbing her eyes as she looked over at me, "Are you okay?"
"It's only nine, babe. Yeah, I'm fine.." I said, holding my back as I got up. "I just think I did something to my back.."
