Our wedding day. Something I had only dreamed of. I truly couldn't even begin to put into words how excited I was for this day to come. I was marrying my best friend, and that's all I've asked for for years.

It was crazy that I was marrying Nadia. It was something we always joked about when we were younger, how we were going to marry one another if we couldn't find someone to love, but it was fate that brought us back to one another. Six whole years, brought back a wave of memories in just a blink of an eye.

My best friend. My life partner. My partner in crime. Nadia was everything to me, she always knew how to better herself and myself. She knew how to make me believe that there is purpose to living, I truly was in love with her and it was incredible.

The nerves ran through my body like crazy; I didn't want anything to be messed up and I just wanted today to be perfect. Having my whole family there to support me and friends from each side of the country, I knew today was going to be an amazing day to marry my best friend.

A day I've dreamed of since I was a little girl was being able to put a wedding dress on and walk down the aisle to marry my best friend. I always knew that I would fall in love one day with someone and commit the rest of my life to, but, it took me a little bit to find that special someone.

I looked in the mirror, flattening out the front of my dress and took a deep breath. I couldn't believe it was really happening today. I turned to face my sister, "It's really happening.."

Aspen smiled, "Having second thoughts?" She asked, laughing. "Kidding. I'm so excited for you. You deserve this," She hugged me tightly and I returned the hug.

"I love you so much," I told her, rubbing her back before pulling back from the hug, "I wouldn't even be in Milwaukee without you.."

It was time to walk down the aisle. I turned to look at my dad who was almost in tears already, "Are you crying already?" I smiled, wiping under his eyes, "You're just letting my best friend marry me." I told him, kissing his cheek before linking my arm with his.

A piano version of "Butterflies" by Kacey Musgraves began to play as everyone in the wedding stood up, Christian stood at the alter as my dad opened the door, allowing everyone to see my dress. I looked around, smiling as I started to walk with my dad.

"No fucking way.." Christian mumbled as he hunched over, putting his hands on his knees and looked at me before standing up, wiping under his eyes. My eyes went to him, seeing that he was already a teary mess. Wyatt was standing next to him, and saw me, his eyes instantly going wide.

"That momma!" Wyatt yelled, causing people to laugh. I shook my head, smiling as I stopped at the end of the aisle with my dad, hugging him tightly and kissed his cheek.

"I love you, daddy." I whispered before letting go of the hug and Christian hugged my dad, patting his back.

"Thank you for this," Christian told my dad before he nodded and sat next to my mother. Christian held out his hand and I took it, walking to stand in front of him. "You literally took my breath away.." He told me quietly, causing me to blush.

We went through the normal ceremony and it was finally time to exchange our vows. I looked at Christian, "Do you want me to go first?" I asked him quietly and he shook his head.

"I got this.." Christian said, pulling the folded papers out of his inside pocket. He cleared his throat before he began to speak,

"I told you when we were eight years old, coloring with chalk on your sidewalk that you were going to the quote prettiest girl in the whole wide universe's world," Christian said with a chuckle, "I mean, eight year old me wasn't wrong, I am blown away with how gorgeous you are and how I got so fuc-flipping lucky to call you mine. I never knew that me coming to Milwaukee would bring me back to my best friend, but somehow, it did, and I'm so thankful for that." He cleared his throat, obviously fighting back tears, but I just let them stream down my cheeks.
