As I neared my due date, I felt like my morning sickness was just intensifying. It was to the point where I would wake up and straight away go into the bathroom and throw up. I guess this was Willow's way of saying she wanted out. Me too, Willow.
When I walked out of the bathroom, I bumped into Christian and he could tell I felt like shit. He took me into his embrace and rubbed my back.
"You go lay down, I'll get you some ginger ale." Christian said as he kissed my head softly before letting go of me so I could walk into the bedroom and crawl into bed. I felt horrible. Both with my nausea, but also with the fact that I couldn't help Christian out. I know he wanted me to rest, but I wanted to be an active mother and help out with Wyatt.
Christian walked back in and set the cup of ginger ale on the nightstand. "Willow making your stomach all yucky?" He asked, sitting at the end of the bed by my feet.
I nod, sighing, "Yeah. She's due any day now and I think this is just her way of letting us know that." I shook my head, pulling the blanket up to my chin, "Thank you for getting me some ginger ale. I appreciate it." Christian nodded and rubbed my legs. "You can go back to what you were doing.."
"I was just chilling with Wyatt. He's watching Paw Patrol so he's set for like the next hour," He chuckled, looking at me, before moving closer to me so he could put his hands on my stomach. As soon as he did, Willow started kicking like crazy. It was so fascinating how she was able to identify when her dad's hands were on my stomach. I knew they were going to have a great connection when she was born.
"She knew right away that her daddy was saying hi," I say with a smile as I watch Christian's lips curl into a smile before he leans down to give my stomach gentle kisses. "She adores you already and you haven't even met her."
"I'm gonna make sure she is the most loved princess ever." Christian said, kissing my stomach more and laughed when Willow kicked where he kissed. "I cant wait to see if she looks just like her beautiful momma.."
I roll my eyes, blushing, "Oh, stop. She's gonna look adorable because she's gonna have your cute smile." I tell him, running my fingers through his hair. "I hope she has curly hair. I love Wyatt's little curls, I can only imagine what they would look like on Willow.."
Christian nodded, looking up at me, "Can't believe we're having another baby..." He moved and sat next to me, "You've been through so much and I'm so proud of you for being such a strong woman," He kissed my cheek, "You are the most amazing mother to Wyatt, the most amazing wife, my best friend, and Willow is going to adore you." He told me, causing me to smile big.
"You know I really love you, right?" I told him, earning a nod, "Good, because I'll never stop telling you. I don't think I would've been able to get through all of this without you...Seriously. Losing the baby took a lot out of me and then I thought we weren't going to be able to have another baby and that crushed me. I just wanted to give Wyatt a little sibling. And now we get to do that, and she's going to be a beautiful, healthy baby girl who has the best daddy and the best big brother.." I put a hand on his cheek, grazing my thumb over his cheek.
"She's our little miracle. I'll never stop saying it. She is going to be so loved by everyone she meets. I can't believe the due date is so soon, I just wanna meet her now!" Christian said, kissing my lips softly. I couldn't help but smile against his lips before molding my lips perfectly against his. Christian always had his way with words. I don't know how he does it, but he always knows the right thing to say, he knows how to make you smile, how to make you laugh, how to cheer you up, and I think that's what made me so lucky to have him.

I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible cramping. I knew this was the beginning of contractions, this is exactly how it felt when I went into labor with Wyatt.
I tried turning onto my side to try and subside the pain, but nothing was working. I shook Christian gently to wake him up, "Baby..."
Christian stirred awake, "Hm, what's up?" He asked quietly and raspy, rubbing his eyes. "Everything okay?"
"I..I think it's time.." I reply, causing him to sit up quickly and turn on the light.
"Wait, what? Are you having contractions?" I nod, grabbing his hands as he helped me sit up. "Has your water broke yet?"
I shake my head, "No, but I know these are labor contractions. They're the exact same ones I felt when I had Wyatt..." I say, wincing as another one comes. I take a deep breath, standing up and leaned against the desk. "I'll call my sister, so we don't have to wake Wyatt up.." I tell him as I grab my phone and call my sister.
She's quick to answer, "Hey Nads, what's up?"
"Aspen, I need you to come over. Wyatt's still sleeping but I definitely think I'm going into labor.."
"Oh fuck, yeah I'll be there as soon as I can. Don't worry." She said before hanging up and I just looked at Christian who was getting the bag ready and then came over by me.
"You okay, baby?" He asked me, grabbing my hands, "She'll be here soon then we can get going and get Willow here." He said, kissing my forehead before I sat back down. It was killing me to stay standing for so long, I needed to just rest but these contractions were saying otherwise.
Once Aspen got here, Christian walked with me into the living room. "Did your water break?"
I shake my head, "No, just contractions. I know it'll break eventually or they'll have to break my water for me. But, I think Willow's ready to come.." I say, grabbing Christian's hand.
"Well you two go. Christian, please call me or text me with updates. I'll let you guys know when he gets up and I'll explain it to Wy." Aspen said before hugging us both, "Good luck, be safe. I love you both."
Christian was quick to get to the hospital, honestly surprised he didn't get pulled over for speeding because he was going a little too fast.
Once they got me in a room, they got me changed into a gown and instantly hooked up to IV fluids and monitors to make sure I was doing okay and Willow was doing okay. "How is she..?" I ask, looking at the nurse.
"She's doing great. Heartrate is normal, everything is on pace. She's just slowly making her way to the world." The nurse smiled at me, "Do you need anything?"
I shook my head at her, "I should be good for now... Thank you.." I say before the nurse nods and walked out. Christian walks in the room with a bottle of water and a little bag of snacks.
"I got you some water and some little snacks if you wanted any. I didn't know if you were hungry or not, but I figured you would want some water soon.." He said, setting them down and kissed my forehead, "She's doing okay?"
I nodded, smiling at him, "She's doing great. My water still has yet to break, but they said if it doesn't break within the next two hours, they're going to do it themselves." I grab his hand, "She's really coming." I say with a smile before he kisses me.
Christian smiled as he pulled away and kissed my forehead again, "You are so tough, babe. I'm so proud of you.." He tells me before grabbing the chair to sit next to the bed.
I move slightly so he could sit in the bed with me for the time being, "Come up here and lay with me.." I say to him before he just looks at me and doesn't say anything as he gets in the bed next to me and puts his hand on my stomach.
"Our princess will be here so soon.."
